Innr Smart LED Festoon Lights Outdoor, 8m, Zigbee, Work with Hue* and Alexa (Bridge Required), Warm White, Garden String Lights, 16 Smart Light Bulbs, IP65 Waterproof, Dimmable, Complete Set [Energy Class F]

I was looking for some outdoor lighting for our new pergola that could be controlled through our existing Hue setup, and these were perfect. We already have some other Innr bulbs and a flexi neon strip light, so knew they make some great options for the Hue ecosystem at much lower price points - these string lights are no exception. I found it hard to find these online at first, as they don't show up readily in Google Search, and the Innr website didn't have them in stock when I did find them. Glad that there were still some on Amazon, but not sure if these are new and word hasn't got round about them yet, or if they're old and on their way out (hope it's the former, as planning to get more). 8 metres certainly didn't go as far as I was expecting, but that's more a me measuring issue than the lights - I had to order three additional 4m strings to cover most of the pergola (6m x 2.5m) and I'll probably need 2 more to complete the design I had in mind... They took a bit of fiddling to set up with the Hue outdoor motion sensor, but after removing the "room" and resetting the sensor, they are now working exactly as expected. Easy to add to Hue in general and to add to a Hue switch. Plugged in to outside power supply with the provided UK plug on the 8m set, and the additional three 4m strings were easy to connect. Each set also comes with one spare bulb and a pack of zip ties, which is a nice touch. One issue I have is that the plug is a little oversized, and as a result I can't shut our weather-sealed plugs - to overcome this I sited the power in a garden box with an extension cord and this is a fair solve - wouldn't be an issue if you planned to drill through a wall or hard wire. All in all very well recommended!

The media could not be loaded. Another festoon string with added features.Firstly the quality. These are exceptionally well made and should last well. As the pictures show, the bulbs are substantial with a ES fitting, quite large.The extra comes in with the automation. This is operated with ZigBee which I do not have, but also Alexa generation 4. However, I have a generation 4 Alexa but it does not have the appropriate addition so that does not work either. Seems only certain generation 4 works and this is not made clear.The saving factor is that there is a push button on the control box, here you can alter the lighting level.Price wise these are certainly at the high end, but do offer functionality which is not usually seen on such strings. Is this functionality needed? Only you will know.Mixed thoughts on this product, however the build quality cannot be questioned.

The media could not be loaded. These indoor/outdoor festoon lights are really cool. I've placed them out on the balcony and as you can see on my pictures they brightened it up! There are 5 light strenght levels and they can easily changed by pressing the power on/off button which acts also as intensity switcher. It comes with a replacement bulb and it definitely does its job. Happy with it

These festoon lights were a doddle to add to my Hue system and work just as well as any other smart bulb - dimmable, can be put on a timer, can be grouped etc. The bulbs are plastic so don't need handling like glass baubles. The cable seems tough and each bulb has a hanging loop. At £90 they're much cheaper than anything Philips has to offer. Currently in love with them, very pleased.

This is a quite nice looking set of 16 warm white (2200K) LED outdoor lights which look electrically well protected. They have a rated output of 110 lumens, so not massively bright but will no doubt add ambience to our garden on those lovely summer evenings.Although it refers to them being “smart”, this is not quite true unless you purchase a special “zigbee bridge” which is essentially a smart plug, and this then enables the lights to be controlled by the “innr” app, Alexa or Google Assistant.I tried to connect them via one of our Alexa smart plugs, and I was then able to turn the lights on or off using my Alexa app, but it still would not connect to the “innr” app. So I’m not clear what advantage there is in getting a “zigbee bridge” to control them versus an Alexa smart plug, since the only option is to turn them on or off, as there is no dimming control, or timer function.They should be easy to install as each light is provided with a hole at their top in order to be able to connect them to Pergola for instance. The only thing to take into account is a suitable location of a mains socket. Fortunately for us we have a Pergola adjacent to our garage so I can feed the cable into there and power it from the garage socket.Overall these are a nice looking set of Led outdoor lights and they will add that extra ambience to our outdoor space.
