Manfrotto PIXI Mini Aluminum Table Top Tripod, Black

Wow this little tripod is STURDY! So I take more photos than I do video & purchased this little guy just in case I'd ever like to do a short vlog or two. I really like how small this tripod is & the hight. It's perfect for sitting your camera onto a table top to say a few words or for some walk n talks. I've got this thing mounted to a Nikon D610 most of the time and I've never had to worry about it failing.

Manfrotto quality in small size and affordable price

This is my second Manfrotto PIXI, purchased so that I would always have one on hand. Initially purchased for impromptu photography and videography work, I also use it as a phone stand, along with a portable Bluetooth keyboard, for a quick work (or video watching) station. Lightweight and just the right size for the bag I always carry around. Manfrotto has a solid reputation and they have put the same amount of attention into this consumer tool as they have for their industry gear. My first PIXI is still providing good service after numerous trips into the field and shows no signs of wearing out.

I hesitated to buy this listing because it had so few reviews, but it's the exact same Manfrotto PIXI Mini model MTPIXIMII-B as the other Amazon listing selling for a bit more. These were both sold by Amazon, so I was a little confused at first. The difference? Probably age — the packaging had some shelf wear, faint discoloration, and a bit of dust. Mine looked like it had sat for a while before shipping. But the tripod inside was new, fully functional, and cleaned up perfectly. Nothing missing or damaged. So yes, I believe this is just new old stock Amazon is clearing out quietly — not used, not repackaged — just unsold older inventory. Most importantly: it’s sturdy. I tested it with my Nikon mirrorless camera + lens combo that weighs 2 lbs 5 oz (measured myself), and the tripod held it very securely, no sag or wobble. For a mini tripod this size, that’s impressive. If you're buying this to use it and not to admire the box on your shelf, save your money and go with this one. It’s a solid, made-in-Italy Manfrotto for your kit — and now it’s an even better value. Just make sure it’s sold by Amazon!

This is perfect for desktop use the tripod is nice and sturdy and has the perfect height. I highly recommend it.

This is a surprisingly sturdy little tripod. The material itself feels high quality; not like cheap plastic. It actually can hold up a DSLR. For around $20 this thing is perfect and doubles as a handheld monopod.

I have three of these. Used for different purposes. It’s a solid little tripod. Sturdy ball head never slips. Highly recommend for small tripod needs

I wish the legs were adjustable rather than being a fixed height.
