I loved this book!
I really appreciate how unique this book was compared to other Regency novels. It was engaging, funny, a lot of good clean romance, surprises and overall I really enjoyed this book. My only criticism is that it seemed short. I know some people like to have a story that is over quickly but I wouldn't have minded if it lasted a bit longer. I happen to love really long books that take days to read. I loved the characters and I'm a little sad to have it end. Definitely worth the read and I will be reading it again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Book.
I loved this book!!! I love Rachael Anderson as an author. She is a clean, funny/witty author that will always have you at the edge of your seat. I loved this story. Prudence was a perfect character of youth, talent, naiveness, beauty, kindness, and passion. The story was engaging as we find three people trying to make love work. But it really only takes two. I loved how the author gave the story from both of the love interests perspectives. Her characters were engaging and fun. I love how this story ended and I am looking forward to more in this series.P.S. This book as well as "The Fall of Lord Drayson" are my all time favorites of the Regency Romance genre.

Funny and Sweet, A Perfect Happily Ever After!
I have been excitedly waiting for this book ever since I saw the beautiful cover. I loved Rachael Anderson's contemporary romances, but she is quickly becoming one of my favorite regency authors too.Prudence has always known that her sister was to marry their neighbor, Lord Knave. What begins as judgements and suspicion of Lord Knave, eventually leads to friendship, an effort to help him get to know her sister, and a secret desire that he was not already attached.Prudence was an entertaining character, she is confident, witty, and artlessly innocent. Lord Knave (Brand) was witty, indulgent, and kind. I loved his relationship with Prudence. Their conversations had me laughing out-loud, and waiting impatiently to see how they could sort out their romantic entanglements.Rachael Anderson created well crafted characters who I can't wait to see more of in the next two books!

Great Book
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, easy read. These are the kind of books I love. The ones where you can picture everything and feel like you are actually watching it unfold. Love is not always easy, and most of the time it is found at the wrong time, and sometimes with the wrong person. But family is family, and no matter what we should always try to do right by them. Sometimes the right thing is to just be honest and see where the truth leads. If you like historical romance novels, that are clean and uplifting, I highly recommend this book.

Utterly Delightful, a Heroine After my own Heart
My Sister’s Intended was thoroughly enjoyable and utterly charming. I truly haven’t enjoyed a book this much in months. Not only was the plot of a sister, in her efforts to help develop the romance between her sister and her intended, coming to fall in love with the said intended herself so much fun, I absolutely adored and completely related to our Heroine Prudence. Not just her love of books and her desires to be an author, but her passion for writing and her tendency to get lost in her imagination as she constantly writes stories in her head. This passage, in particular, spoke to me:"From the time she was a young girl, scene after scene, story after story, played through her mind like acts on a stage. Imagined characters became people with personalities, interests, motivations, and plights of their own. Prudence couldn’t help but get lost in a world more adventurous than her own where anything could happen… Whenever she would read, her mind would come alive with dialogue, strategies, and interesting twists and turns. Sometimes she’d dismiss them as ridiculous and other times she would write furiously. Regardless, the ideas would come. They’d always come."This is me!In addition to finding a total kindred spirit in Prudence for her romantic heart, dreams, and her love of stories, books, and especially writing, the romance between her and her sister's intended, Lord Knave, was adorable. Not only were they truly perfect for one another, but their banter was hilarious. I loved the arrangement between Prudence and Lord Knave for her helping him get closer to her sister in exchange for receiving his help with her story research by answering her romance questions. Their romance blossoms perfectly from these delightful scenes of their secret meetings to their later exchanging humorous letters. Everything was perfect.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed, loved, and adored this utterly adorable story. Immediately upon finishing, I ached to start over and reread it, and while I didn’t, I know it’s one I’ll reread several times in the years to come.

Thoroughly Enjoyed This Book!
Prudence was the younger sister and was a writer. Her older sister, Sophia, was prim and proper and had to marry first. It had long been understood that Sophia and their neighbor, Lord Knave, would marry when the time was right. However, Prudence was not convinced that Sophia would be happy with Lord Knave, or Brand, as he was known as to his friends.Prudence believed one should only marry for love. It was obvious to her that Brand and Sophia were not in love with each other. She tried to help them to get to know each other better. But, the more time she spent around Brand, the more she wanted him to be hers. She started out doing research for her book but she began to see Brand as the wonderful man he was; someone who could see and appreciate Prudence for the woman she was and not judge her unfairly for her dreams. She couldn't betray her sister, though, so she tried to stay in the shadows. The more time that Brand spent with Sophia, the more he wished he could spend time with her sister. Was it possible to marry for love and not by arrangement? Would he and Sophia ever be happy together or was he willing to risk it all and tell her of his feelings for Prudence? Would all of their lives be ruined if he did? This was a wonderfully written story about secrets and how they can hurt someone you love. It is also a story of love and redemption and forgiveness.

A clean, feel good series!
Oh my... I just loved this story & am so eager to read the next two in the series! (A shame there are only two more to come!)I have long enjoyed Ms. Anderson’s style of writing & her stories but this may well be my favourite thus far! I cannot adequately express how thoroughly I enjoyed this novel. I loved the interactions between all of the characters but especially those between the two main characters. The humour as well as seeing their friendship & ultimately love grow was satisfying to say the least. The interactions between the main characters & others in the story are also intriguing & enjoyable. Hence why I am eager for the next book in the series! Each characters personality has such promise & potential for their own story.I do not want to give away any spoilers (it’s really hard, let me tell you!) so I’m going to leave it here but let me just reassure you that this is a clean & happy read. Set in regency times, which was already a huge tick in my opinion, this novel left me feeling thoroughly happy with its outcome & not wanting to put it down!If you like clean, feel good, regency style novels then you will most certainly not be disappointed!Enjoy!I received an ARC of this book free without any obligation to leave a review.I have taken this book from my “to be read” pile & have promptly put it in my “to be read AGAIN” pile ;)

Historical romance
The characters were lovely and the two main leads had good banter between them. It has no surprising plot to it and it was obvious from the start where the story was headed and how it would end generally. However, the story is written quite well and it is a good book to read on a rainy day! Or a sunny day!

The title is a bit of a give-away
An enjoyable read. It is obvious from the title how it is going to end. So the story is all about resolving any difficulties. I wasn't wholly convinced by some aspects, but did like the two main characters.
