Applied Lymphology: Lymphatics of the Brain

I hate to write a negative review. But, in my view, this book doesn't deliver any "how to" at all. The title is Applied Lymphology: Lymphatics of the Brain, hence I thought it would certainly cover how to do lymphatic head, neck massage and tell us about brain lymphatics. The three diagrams on the front cover show lymphatic systems of the head, and the book delivers nothing much at all. Really pages 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 touch on brain lymphatics, not how to do it mind you. There is a tantalising diagram of stimulation points on the roof of the mouth (which the author Carola Koenig calls "the gum"), but again no real instructions of how to do it, how long, what order, how hard or gently. Here is the sum total of what she has to say about Inner-Mouth-Drainage:"Pointed out in this image are the 17 stimulation points on the gum (palate) [the diagram is clearly the roof of the mouth] for Inner-Mouth-Drainage. In general I instruct the patient, even children, how to address these points on their own. It appears awkward enough to press those points on your own, but trust me, it is way more comfortable this way than having someone else sticking their fingers in their mouth. I recommend using a stylus as you use on your I-Phone just pull a rubber finger-protector over it and you are good to go. As I mentioned before even children don't have any objections doing it . Usually twice a day after doing their teeth."That's it. There are no instructions given on how to do the Inner Mouth lymphatic (brain) drainage.For me it was like reading the introduction to the book. So where is the book? Where is the Applied Lymphology? Where are the lymphatic drainage canals on the head? How do you do lymphatic draining. And most important, how do you drain the lymphatic/glymphatic system of the brain?What is this book for? Who is it for? So disappointed, and I'll try to return it as I learned nothing specific. The chapter headings look specific, and then the discussion fails to address the heading.If you want to learn more about HOW TO drain the brain of lymph, this is not the book for you. Frustrated.
