I bought the rails and employed someone to fit it, the mechanism that controls the opening/closing is secured by one small screw and would not work. I put all this in message to seller but have had no reply. The item that has now been ditched and replaced by poles from local shop.

No complaints here, easy to cut to exact size and fit and with smooth operation, they were also well packaged and quickly delivered.

Our old curtain track had become a liability which had to be power pulled to free the tangled cords causing the fixings to come adrift more often than not. I looked at curtain rails in the local diy stores but considered the products to be flimsy and of poor quality. I finished up buying the Swish Superluxe corded track from Amazon. The track arrived quicky and was delivered in one length in a long cardboard packing cylinder. This meant that there were no metal folding hinges to worry about and all the cords were fitted ready for use. It was also easily lifted into position. The track which was put up in about fifteen minutes following the clear instruction is very smooth in operation.

Be warned that following the supplied instructions for fitting in a bay window creates a bend that's too sharp. Fit the brackets further out than suggested for a non 90 degree bay.
