I was skeptical about whether this jar opener would actually work or not, but it does. There are two gripper parts - one that grips the jar and one that grips the lid. The one that grips the jar gets a little glitchy sometimes and won't grip correctly. Then it has to be restarted but it always grips on the second try. The lid part really grips tight. I've had a few lids that were super tight but this contraption was able to open them with little effort. Overall, I like it and am satisfied with the way it works. I can be a little tricky to grip the jar sometimes but that might just be user error.

Finally got around to using this electric jar opener. Fantastic. Now, I don't know how long it will hold up but I will try to update this review as time goes by. No matter what the future brings.

An electric jar opener for anyone who struggles with opening tight jars. It's powerful, can handle new jam jars tight lids, and it's easy to use with just one touch. It is a bit bulky, but that just makes it so it can open a wide range of containers. I got it for my parents since they are getting pretty old and opening jars is not something they can do easily now days.
