The perfect pencil
It’s a well polished, responsive and highly accurate stylus with great features that you won’t get with any third party pencil. A few things to consider that aren’t really mentioned in any reviews. It’s main intended use is that of a pencil so that part works great but you won’t be able to navigate all menus the same way that you would with your finger. As an example, swiping up from the bottom to take you to the main menu doesn’t work. All in all it’s a great device, haptics feel like actual button presses, the battery lasts a good 5 hours with constant use and charges in 20~ minutes. Comfortable to hold and super easy to use.

Perfect for me.
Cheapest Apple Pencil but doesn’t feel like it. Connects very easily just plug in with the USB-C cable. Doesn’t have the extra magnetic charging on the side of the iPad but charging is easy enough and the pencil charges very quickly, battery doesn’t last that long but when it charges so quickly doesn’t really matter. Feels very high quality, the matte finish makes it feel premium and nice to hold. It’s not too light but not too heavy, ideal weight. If you plan on just doing art and drawing probably wouldn’t recommend due to the lack of pressure sensitivity but if you don’t plan to do a lot of drawing, just basic sketching or mostly note taking you’ll be completely fine. Although make sure you don’t drop it as the tip on the end is quite delicate and if you drop it and it lands on the tip it will most likely be squished and you’ll have to buy a new pack of tips (£19 for 4). All in all a very good pencil and perfect for me.

Apple Pencil USB-C: Precision, Comfort, and Seamless Connectivity
The new Apple Pencil with USB-C is a game-changer! From the moment I picked it up, I could tell this was a well-crafted tool. The sleek, minimalist design feels perfectly balanced in my hand, making it comfortable to hold for extended periods without any discomfort. The matte finish offers a smooth yet grippy texture, giving me a secure hold, whether I'm sketching or taking notes. The USB-C charging port is a huge upgrade, making it so much easier to charge and connect with my other Apple devices. No more dealing with proprietary adapters or awkward connectors – just plug it in, and you're good to go. Performance-wise, the Apple Pencil is as precise and responsive as ever. Whether I'm drawing fine details or writing notes, the fluidity and accuracy are unmatched.Overall, this Apple Pencil feels like an essential upgrade for anyone who uses it regularly. It's comfortable, efficient, and beautifully designed, and it’s clear Apple has put a lot of thought into improving the experience for users. And the battery life on it it’s really good it lasts pretty long Highly recommend it!

Nice pencil, the real thing or get a third party?
I bought this pencil to use on my ipad mini 7th generation. Using it has been a pleasure, i should point out that i use it for writing notes in goodnotes, and the occasional apple notes. I don't use it for drawing or sketching. When in notes the pencil has the full features that it comes with like the squeeze and the menu pops up. However this feature is not active when using goodnotes. The double tap to bring up the eraser does function in that programme. Previously i used a non apple pencil from ESR on my other ipad, which worked ok but not as good in my opinion. The apple pencil pro never skips or misses any strokes when writing, my esr pencil did. The pencil pro attached to the ipad and the esr didn't, it charges whilst attached and can be used easily just as a stylus if needed. The apple pencil also has the useful feature that before you touch the screen you can see the colour and thickness on the ipad before you actually start. If money is tight then this pencil is a luxury, however it works better for me and is convenient always on my ipad. my other pencil was usually nearby but i always had to locate it before i could use it and it wasn't always fully charged.

Great addition to any iPad
This is a great addition to any iPad in my opinion. I use this with various note taking apps and it’s so intuitive and easy to use, fast charging, and such good build quality. It is very expensive but then Apple products often are higher price than usual. I think it is fair value for money though. It connects extremely easily and is so easy to hold and use with a nice grip and texture. I’m surprised at how durable and scratch resistant it is too. The magnet strength is awesome and it clings to the iPad really well (I’m using an Air M2 2024 iPad). My only criticism would be that I feel at this price it should come with a couple of spare tips, which it doesn’t come with. That’s a let down. But otherwise I’m quite happy with it.

High quality pencil
High quality pencil which works to a high standard with a clickable section close to the nib that displays a smaller menu on screen for various options. Yes, it’s quite expensive but extremely well made. Only downside it quickly discharges when not in use.

Perfect Pen for a small budget!
I have tried numerous different Pencils on the Amazon market; the one issue with them all is the build quality. This pen works well for writing and doing light drawing ( but not professional). It writes super smoothly, and the speed of charging is immense!I highly recommend using this pen while studying. GoodNotes Premium is worth a look!

Always good products from Apple
Brilliant so far although I need to look into all the different things you can use it for. Easy to use just pop it on top of your iPad and it charges and will connect to your iPad. Magnet is pretty strong on it although just in case I got a case that holds it too. Very responsive and comfortable to hold whilst using. There are a few functions you can do with it ie squeezing it but I haven’t used it for that as of yet. Compatible with newer iPads so check if it is supported on the iPad you have. Good cake for money as far as Apple prices go. I would definitely recommend.
