Didn't work - no matter what
It didn't work with my Home Depot purchased outdoor ceiling fan i purchased two years ago. The original controller was left out in the rain and hasn't worked since. I was hoping this remote would solve the problem. No amount of button pushing in combo with power on/off did the trick. And yes, there is power to the fan as it operates when manually switched. I'm returning it and looking for another solution.

Easy to set up. Worked immediately.
This worked perfectly with my model of light/fan. I was a little afraid because I wasn't sure if it was the light or remote. But I followed the simple instructions and it worked immediately. I'm so happy now that I can use it to control the light and fan again with a simple button press. Easy, fast, works. Does not come with AAA batteries, so remember to get some.

I was able to get the replacement from Amazon which was a relief because the manufacturer no longer had for the ceiling fan

works great ! can have two connected to it .
Hard to understand connection instructions . but very easy once figured out . turn off power to fan/light , then push set up , after 30 seconds , turn power on , press light button and it is done . You can have two remotes on it ,. I have one on the entrance door and the second by the bed , for night use .
