We have deer and these work great to keep them away from our garden! They’re super sensitive with good range and go off all day when wind creates garden / plant movement. However we don’t mind cuz we’re on 3 acres

This has worked great. It’s been easy to set up and has kept critters away from unwanted areas around my house. It is made well and has done good during the elements. I’ve had no issues and I would get again.

Over six weeks in and so far no issues. We purchased these to keep the deer away from the hostas as nothing else seemed to work and so far they certainly have. I am thinking about getting more for some other areas as well.

I'm writing this review after 30 days of use. This seemed like the perfect tool to keep deer out of a newly planted home vineyard (40 vines) that didn't yet have a fence. I mounted it on one of the fence posts that were set. The motion sensor was a little iffy and at times would not detect until the deer were up to the post. The lights, shotgun sound, and dogs barking did the job to scare off unwanted visitors and the solar charging worked well. I liked it better than the sprinkler options because if I forgot about it and walked by I would just be startled by the sudden sound and not get drenched like with the sprinklers.The problem I ended up having was the speaker got wet during a time of heavy wind and rain and it stopped working. I hoped it would dry out and be fine but once it dried there was just static coming from the speaker. It wasn't even loud enough to scare the deer. The lights and motion sensors are still working but the speaker is not.The vineyard fence is up but I need a deer deterrent near some planters on the side of my house. I liked this one enough to try again but from a different seller. I couldn't find a way to contact this seller about the speaker issue, and I'm now outside the 30 days for return. I found another seller that has contact info listed so I'll see if I have better luck.This alarm has the potential to be very useful if it holds up to the weather. I live in the country so I don't have to worry about neighbors hearing the alarm. It probably wouldn't be the best option for scaring off cats or other animals if you have close neighbors that would hear the shotgun and barking sounds.
