I've always used the most classic product off of the shelf. I gave this a shot for the first time because it's so much incredibly more cost-effective. Personally I found it easier to install. Using a water guard material to paste it on with a brush was a lot easier than using any type of cement material. It seems almost exactly like installing a cast on a broken arm. Once it gets wet it feels really waterproof.

I was a little skeptical upon ordering, but once I used it I was convinced it is the best tape I've used on cement board! It is easy to used, I used scissors to cut it. The most awesome thing with this product is the size of the roll the amount you get, it is the best deal in the market at least here on Amazon! These products aren't cheap so when you find a deal such as this it is refreshing.

I used this product to seal around the chimney with sealant. No water is coming to the attic.
