Obsessed
I love the kobo! I find I like it better than my paper white and it has more feature. Only complaint is not all books are available and NetGalley arcs don’t always send. I would recommend.

Great Screen Size
I have been using the libra colour for almost two months and really like it. The color quality is great and it is nice to have colored highlights and book covers-I appreciated it more than I thought I would. The screen brightness and color temperature are easy to adjust and offer may options depending on you preference and the lighting around you. I really like the physical page turn buttons and the contours and materials are comfortable in my hands. The case is great-it wakes and sleeps the device without automatically and the case can turn into a stand which comes in handy. The bookstore has a very large selection and it was easy to connect with my library card and borrow books. This is a nice reader and I recommend.

If you’re thinking about getting a Kobo, do it

Doesn’t work as it should
I have only had this 3 months and I loved up until now. The screen when you go to your wishlist just keeps flashing and will not stop so you can’t even see your wishlist. Occasionally when you’re reading a book it will do that but I would restart it and go back in and it would be fine. For as much money as this was you would think there would be some sort of customer service. So I guess I’m stuck with something that only half works.

Switched after 14 years of Kindle
After over a decade as a Kindle girly I decided to make the switch to Kobo to see what the hype was all about. I was drawn in by the fact that it has color (something Kindle didn’t offer at the time), has buttons (why no new Oasis Amazon?), and has a stylus. After several months of this being my primary reading device, I like it even more now than I expected to. My favorite features are Google Drive integration, direct access to Libby book checkouts, the color, and being able to annotate directly on the page like I would with a physical book. My biggest complaint is that sometimes there’s a bit more lag than I’m used to with Kindle devices. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but it is noticeable from time to time. Writing with the stylus is not quite as nice as it is on my Kindle scribe (which I still use daily for work purposes), but it’s decent enough. Overall I’m VERY happy with this purchase and I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to kindle again.
