Britax Römer car seat 9-36 kg, EVOLVA 123 PLUS group 1/2/3, Moonlight Blue

Great value for money. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to extend and tighten the arm straps, however after figuring it out it’s quite straight forward but still a bit fiddly. Really easy waist adjusting, and a quite simple way which is fits into the car, even though again quite fiddly. Definitely a car seat that is left in the car and not to be transported as quite heavy and hard to carry, but there is loads of bags available online which fit any car seat universally that have straps and carry handles. Drink cup holders are a little useless since most beakers/kiddie cups are too big to fit, but perfect size for take away paper cups. Also a little annoying that you have to take it all out just to recline it however as our son is still very young we just leave it in the reclining position for now. Overall quite happy with the product and it is very safe and secure, the fiddly bits just come with the lower price. If you want something more advance it will be more money

We own 3 of these and 2 much more expensive seats from other manufacturers that had better reviews. For us these are the best, having withstood 2* 6 month - 4 year old's so far perfectly.Update 2 years after first review, these are still doing well, we now own 4 of them for 2 cars and the other 2 we owned have either been given away or put in the roof. these are still in great condition and are now dealing with one 4 and one 6 year old. we have stripped them down to the plastic and washed the covers (you will need to do this trust me) and its not a hard process and the seats go back together easily and don't bleed colour or deteriorate from being washed. I'd still recommend these, our girls are tall and these still fit them fine even though they are almost big enough not to need them any more. We also bought a difference more expensive design for our parents to have, as they were meant to be easier to fit and allow for the girls to use them for longer. that was soon put away as we let them borrow on of these as well as the more expensive unit and they asked not to have the more expensive one again as my dad struggled to fit it where as these are simple.

Good chair. This seems to be a pretty good chair. Getting the seatbelt through to secure it in the car gets easier the more you do it, although I never manage to do it without twisting the belt which is apparently not good.If you let your kids eat in this seat then the crumbs do go through some of the holes - including the strap release button hole. Gets a bit gross down there, but you can of course clean it. Talking of which, the cover comes off easily and can go in the wash. There are some places where liquids can pool if your child has a spillage or other accident. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Anyway all in all we’re happy with the seat - we now have two.

We already have one of these car seat for our grandchildren. They find them comfortable and they seem secure. My only gripes are that it is difficult to tighten the belts once the child is in. In theory it's easy - push down on the button at the front and pull on the strap. In practice it doesn't happen! Also, the instructions to change the seat from toddler to young child are very complicated (I downloaded instructions and they were about 70 pages long!)

Really happy with this car seat (black one) which we bought about a month ago for our then 15 month old child to use in our second car (Skoda Citigo - quite a small car!). My husband was able to fit it without too much swearing...and it is so cushiony and cosy with nice padded straps which don't cut into my daughter's neck like our Cosatto seat does. Also straps don't get all twisted like our Cosatto seat. (In fact I really like it much better than the Cosatto one - pretty to look at but rubbish to use.) Yes it's a bit fiddly adjusting the straps but I read some of the answers on here which helped. Great seat, great price and they ship to the Channel islands free - what's not to like :)

Good, robust seat with excellent safety features.Fits well in Ford focus and 3 series BMW.Don't think I really needed to order the one with expandable sides as the width difference is minimal, so if was to buy again would get without.Would like the seat cover to be thicker as I think it may 'hitch' over time.On the whole a good buy from a trusted retailer and my 3yr old fits well in it with the 3 point harness.Would buy again and recommend to others.

Very nice car seat. Fitted brilliantly into my car. The figment instructions were simple to follow (I also recommend watching the video too) and the seat feels firm and safe.This seat moves between my car and the grandparents car and it always remains easy to get in and out and fits well into either car (different brands).Size and space for the little one seems good. The harness is strong and the buckle doesn’t seem at all easy to open by their little hands! The shoulder pads are nice and thick and the chair seems nicely designed for their comfort.Our little boy seems very comfortable and happy to be sat in it.

Nice seat which is comfortable for baby and feels safe and sturdy.......you just need to hope your child is never sick whilst in it! As warned in an earlier review, it is an absolute pig to clean!! My daughter got car sick a week after me installing the seat and i have now been cleaning it for 2 days. Customer services were helpful and explained the complicated process of how to remove the fabric part that is detachacable (it's not all detachable) but i can already see it's going to be a nightmare to get back on! The rest of it I've just had to scrub and scrub by hand but there are bits you cant get too andI'm not sure it will ever be back to how it was now.
