This is an air gun bore snake its doesnt have wire brushes like the firearm version. This is affordable and quick and easy to use and gets the barrel completely clean very fast. The build is great it has a heavy end and strong cord for pull through and it fits just right to clean with minimal effort.

It's a Boresnake! What else can you say? The guy that came up with the idea of a boresnake was a genius. He made our lives so much easier. I have boresnakes for almost every caliber. This particular one is for airguns, so there is no brush built in. I only wish all the boresnakes I purchased in the past came in the same plastic case this one comes in. I had to drop all of the others in Ziploc sandwich bags with the calibers written on the bags. This is a solid plastic case that will outlast the boresnake, and it is large enough that it easily holds the boresnake after you first unpackaged and unwrapped it the first time as the third picture shows. I would highly recommend not only this boresnale for .177 caliber airguns, but for all calibers of airguns and rimfire and centerfire long guns and handguns.

This seems like a good product. That the handle is part of the case is a nice touch. You're less likely to lose part of the set.I should have read the other middling review more closely, though, because the brass weight on the end is too big to fit into the breech of my air pistol. The weight is 1.5 inches long and my gun's breech only opens up about half an inch. So I can't actually use this.
