I recently started learning Go and was able to get a copy of this book to help me with my learning, it's perfect for ramping up for beginners and intermediate level learners who have prior experience with programming, the initial project from Chapter 1 is built on continuously for the following chapters giving a sense of contiguousness and how each of the concepts being learnt are applied in a live program.The book barely makes assumptions about the amount of knowledge a person has and provides in depth explanations along with examples to help with the understanding.

This is a great book to start learning Go Lang and reach to intermediate level. This book covers a wide range of topics, starting off with the basics, and then learning intermediate level concepts like concurrency, go lang internals(garbage collection), interfcaes, generics, testing and benchmarking golang code. The book covers applications of Golang with examples, in depth. There are code snippets and exercises as well, which I found helped me better understand the concepts in the chapters and apply to new problems. I have been a go developer for about 1 year and found this book very helpful. A lot of concepts I learned here directly helped me at work. Furthermore everything is updated for the new go versions. A must read for people who want to get a good grip over golang.
