Murdle Jr.: Curious Crimes for Curious Minds: Solve Your Way Through 40 Puzzle Mysteries! Review: Perfect Murdle Fun, Perfectly Sized for Young Detectives! - My 11-year-old son is a huge fan of the original Murdle puzzle books, enjoying both the challenge and the humor. When I saw Murdle Jr., I knew we had to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! This book hits the sweet spot perfectly for its target audience. He dove right into "Curious Crimes for Curious Minds" and was instantly hooked. The puzzles retain the clever deductive reasoning core of the original Murdle, but are definitely geared appropriately for younger solvers. He found the difficulty level to be "just right" – challenging enough to make him think, but not so hard that he got frustrated. He loves the whole Murdle concept, and this junior version delivered that same fun experience. He was so engaged that he worked his way through the entire book in just a couple of days! For us, that's always a sign of a great puzzle book. It held his attention, provided a satisfying sense of accomplishment with each solved case, and kept him entertained screen-free. If you have a child around 10-12 years old who enjoys logic puzzles, mysteries, or is perhaps curious about the main Murdle books but finds them a bit daunting, Murdle Jr. is an absolutely fantastic introduction. It captures the spirit of the original while being perfectly accessible. Highly recommended! Review: Challenging but Fun Puzzle Book for Kids - The Murdle Youth puzzle book is a bit tricky for my 8-year-old, but with a little help from an adult, it turns into a really fun and engaging activity. It’s great for building problem-solving skills and thinking outside the box. A good choice for kids who enjoy a challenge and some quality time together!

Reading and puzzle time! Perfect!
My 10 year olds love these books! We count them as their reading time for school because they are definitely working on comprehension and really understanding what is going on to solve the mysteries. The clues and stories are fun to read and the puzzles are addictive!

Fun and engaging for kids
This is a great book! Often kids' variations are dumbed down or "less" than adult versions. This is not the case with this book, it keeps the same fun and challenge as the regular Murdle books, but at a kid's level. My 8 year old can mostly do it on his own, occasionally asking for a bit of help every once in a while.

Fun for kids and parents
YES YES YES. I love the murdle jr series. I have 7 children and I have had each one of them complete a book. It is so much fun. They can do it on their own or ask me for help. I love watching there excitement as they are solving cases. The story line is fun and engaging. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Great for a child that likes a challenge!
My 6 year old LOVES this book. He sometimes has a hard time on the trickier puzzles, but completing the beginning puzzles was a big confidence booster for him (mantra: "I can do hard things.") and it opened the door for him to start with other logic puzzles too! The whole murdle Jr. Series is great for kids and Murdle for adults is wonderful as well! Highly recommend!

My 10 year old son received his copy a few days ago and is loving the book, it’s all he’s asking for! It’s lovely to do with a parent but equally as nice for him to start alone. It’s challenging enough without putting him off and keeps him off a screen - win, win!

NIce logical puzzles for kids to solve!

After working through a few of the puzzles together, my 10 year old didn't want to stop, and solved the rest on her own. A fun story line coupled with simple logic puzzles is a winning combination for someone who loves mysteries and hasn't done logic puzzles before.
