CREE XML T6 LED Flashlight 5 Mode Zoomable Torch (Flashlight ONLY) (Small)

I just got this flashlight. I can't believe such a high quality. It is definitely worth 20 bucks. It is made of all Aluminum metal except the lens. Lens is high quality plastic, better than glass. it is really bright with 5 modes (At the beginning I thought it was defected one). It goes around as you turn it on and off. This thing is so durable unlike so many plastic flashlights. I must have 10 at home and half are not working.I love the hand-feels. It makes you feel it is not a piece of Junk. Guys who like outdoors, fix things, such as underneath of car, crawl space, fixing kitchen sink... this is perfect! I also love the zoom feature - it can change from ~4x4 inch square into ~ 24 inch diameter circle. It has amazingly uniform illumination. I would recommend everyone should have one in your car, bedsides, your kids rooms... Because it is LED, the battery can last forever. It has the right size and kids can hold that too. You can hold it with your mouth. This is the best flashlight that I have ever had. This thing sets the bar. highly recommended to have at home, in the car or outdoors.

Got it and returned it the next day. Item was scratched up , when received. Looked like it was returned once before. Also not as bright as their saying!

I recently discovered LED flashlights. This one is small, has multiple functions, is incredibly bright, seems sturdy, runs on inexpensive AAA batteries, and is relatively inexpensive. I bought one & now bought 3 more. If they last (& they seem sturdy enough), they are incredible bargains. They are infinitely better than my big maglite.

I've been very happy with this style of light. I own several versions, but I like them all. This one is kind of nice because it can use AAA batteries, but the down side is that the handle is slightly larger in diameter than a regular non AAA compatible model. I find the AAA batteries to not be nearly as bright as when it's powered by 18650s, but I haven't compared them much. Also the quality isn't amazing vs any light at any price, but for the price, it is great for a backup type light. With a good battery setup you'll have an excellent light from my experience of about 1 or 2 months playing with this occasionally.

It seemed to throw a good beam of light. We'll be using it this weekend to set up camp in the dark. That will be the real test. However, for the price, it's a good little flashlight.
