My home office is in a dark corner, made darker by a bookcase that blocks much of the natural light in the room. I wanted to add lighting that didn't involve mounting something to the wall, and something that offered indirect lighting, because sometimes, with the screens on, I just need a little extra ambient light, not direct task lighting. This lamp is versatile, allowing one to flip the side fins up to cast light upward. It's nice that the controls for the side/up lights are separate from the main task/down light. All lights are adjustable (either continuous or step) in brightness and color temperature. Personally, I like the 3500 K temperature, and step 3 brightness, for both main and side lights. That's what is pictured in my photo.The light is easy to set up - just clamp it to your desk or table. It feels pretty stable, and the foam pad on the clamp itself protects the desk surface. No tools needed. The arms are adjustable and feel sturdy yet light. They feel a little stiff to me, but I don't anticipate needing to move the light too much, and the stiffness probably means that it won't drift down over time.I got the white colored arms, and I think it kind of disappears against the light-colored wall. It looks great, gives me the light I need, and even doubles as a picture light, casting light on artwork hanging on my wall.So far I love it, and I recommend!

I have purchased A LOT of items from Amazon, but this might be my best purchase to date. I have tried plenty of different desk lamps and most were purchased from Amazon, but this desk lamp is really amazing. The height of the lamp shines the light right over where I am working or on my laptop. Every other lamp sits in a corner and the light that casts is behind the computer and the shadows make it difficult to work at night. It looks really cool as well. I have a large desk pushed up tight against the wall and I was worried that the clamp to attach it to the desk would leave a huge gap between the wall and desk, but it was really designed well in my opinion. Very sturdy and only moves when it is being manually positioned. Really an unbelievable amount of light color, brightness and placement options. If you are looking for a quality desk lamp with tons of options, give this one a try. It is a fraction of other higher brand recognition lamps and really outclasses them!!!! Very happy with this purchase!

Was a little scared off by the price but went ahead and splurged for this light... I am not disappointed and very happy I did.I chose this lamp due to the flexibility of the lights and the front touch controls are up high so no fumbling around desktop level or having to leave a pathway to reach the buttons . This was easy to assemble and comes with a clamp to attach to desk. Make sure your desk or other surface has the space to accommodate the clamp and do not over tighten.Lamp is very sturdy and as mentioned very flexible with numerous joints for the arm and the individual lights are flexible as well. I also like the various light temperatures and brightness options. It even has a light sensor to automatically adjust the brightness if you want. Highly recommend this light, so many options and if needed, can use on shelves or a hobby table.

I ordered the free standing lamp and got a clamp on instead. I decided to give it a try anyway, because I found a way to make it work. It is an excellent lamp. It has multiple settings for color and intensity of the light and control over the foldable arm lights. Very solid construction. Very manipulable. Good value.

My mom has macular degeneration. She lost alot of her sight. She realized that if she has a higher volume of light, she can see better. I bought one desk lamp and it was not bright enough. I did more searching and found this one. It has different light "tones" and different brightness. You can either use the center lamp or hit a second on/off button and the two "wing" lights will turn on and double the brightness. This lamp easily clamps onto the table. It has material that protects the table. There are several different positions for this lamp which really helps adjust the lamp to place it where you need it. It is worth the price.

As a researcher, I work at a big U shaped desk with a computer to my right, documents in front of me and a large reference book to my left. This 47" Desk Lamp has now replaced three different incandescent lamps and lights up all my work better than those three ever did. I did not think I would care about the remote, but have come to find it very useful. Overall, it attached to my desk easily and securely, bends in all the right places to put bright light exactly where I need it, and I like the options to choose among warm or cool light colors and to select brightness levels.

It can be used multiple ways. Just the middle two lights or folded out to have four lights. Brightness is adjustable. Warmth of the light is adjustable. The fold out feature means you can have the entire desk lit up, not just a little pool of light

The slim profile, sleek design, and flexible arms of this desk lamp make it very convenient to affix it to my desk. It does not take up much desk space and provides light for a wide area on my desk. Even the lowest brightness setting is sufficient for my work, so brightness is not an issue. This is the best desk lamp I have ever had, and I am glad I purchased it.

I absolutely love this lamp!! It's so flexible at multiple different points. I LOVE that the lighted arms are also articulated. The centre lamp and side lamps can be turned on independently, and the colour and intensity of the light can also be adjusted. The mounting bracket is metal and slim, and doesn't create a huge gap behind my desk. The lamp itself is quite lightweight. Love this. Would buy again!

Great light. Lots of options. Wish it came with a remote control or app to adjust the mode.
