Exactly what I needed
I have an M1 MacBook Pro for my personal machine and a Dell laptop for work. Each are connected to their own docking station. This KVM allowed me to connect both docks to the 3 monitors I use at home. I love that all I have to do is click a button and I can switch to my personal machine. Nice part is that this also allows me to use a single camera and speaker/microphone. Highly recommend.

Good multi PC KVM with a few very small frustrations
Finding a display port KVM is difficult enough, finding as high refresh capable 4 PC KVM with display port is practically impossible.I am currently running 4 PCs for various little projects and streaming, and this has made my life so much easier. Since the single (for some reason) HDMI port on my main PC's graphics card is needed for video capture, I really can only use Display Port for the shared screens I have in my setup. This allows me to quickly swap between having my setup for streaming, back to general use, or my laptop, or mini PC I use as a simple webhost for local stuff. It does get a little finicky, and it is quite large, but once it is set up I have very few issues.Sometimes windows does forget where and how the monitors are set up, but I think that is more of a windows issue than this switch. My main problem though, is the very small number of USB ports. 3 is not very many. The switch this is replacing had 5, which means I need to figure something out for those other two devices. Though, not too huge an issue. A Hub will fix that, but its an extra thing needed. That being said. This is a very versatile switch, really good!

I am on the fence.....
I like the combination (2HDMI, 1 DISPLAY) and quantities of ports for 4 computers, however it could do with some more USB ports and the location of them. There are 3 USB 3.0 ports on the front, so in my case, that is for the mouse, keyboard and camera. I would rather have these on the back as well with the other input/output ports and maybe an additional one or two USB ports on the front for maybe an USB stick or an external hard drive. The other gripe of mine is the slow switch from one system to another. Currently I have one micro computer and one laptop attached and when switching between them it takes a good 10-12 seconds for the monitors to register the "new" computer I switched too. This isn't one of the high end priced switches but I expected more. YMMV with your setup.

Performs great with 4 computers with a mix of HDMI and DP ports
I'm really happy with this switch. I have 4 computers that I switch between regularly and this switch fits the bill nicely. I don't have 8k monitors but it works great on my 4k 60hz setup. It has plenty of USB ports for my needs. I have three monitors a 4k center and two 1440p monitors left and right and my Windows, Linux, and MAC computers work just fine with it. I've had no issues.

Works but....
It is a very nice unit and with the right cables and video card, it works great. I have a HP Prodesk and a HP mini computer each having 2 display port video outputs and they do NOT work with this KVM. I put a Nvidia K620 video card in the HP Prodesk and it works great. I cannot get this KVM switch to work with onboard Display Port video outputs.Update: It only works with 2 computers. When I attach the 3rd computer, one of the other computers goes black and does not work. Very frustrating. It doesn't matter which port I use, 2 computers will work but connect a 3rd or 4th and only 2 will work. This is getting returned!

Perfect if it's what you need
I really like this KVM switch. It is very specific in what it does, allowing you to easily switch three DisplayPort monitors between two computers while sharing a keyboard and mouse. There are a few things that are unique about this unit.First, seeing a unit with high speed DisplayPort connectivity is extremely rare. You see a lot that do things like 4K60Hz, but it's rare to see one that supports 8K@60Hz (or more commonly, 4K at higher frequencies like 120 or 144Hz). I also like that the USB connectivity is USB 3 instead of USB2. This can be problematic with some keyboards and mice, but that's easy to get around since you can just plug the other end into a USB2 port on the PC (it only uses as much bandwidth as the slowest device in the chain). If you have a keyboard with RGB lighting and associated control software, odds are good it'll work correctly through this KVM. I also like that this switch comes with a remote switch that be mounted in a convenient location if you want to place the actual switch a little further back on the desk. It's a wired switch that connects to the front of the main unit and has double-sided tape so it can be easily attached to - for example - the underside of a desk. Since this unit just switches between two computers, pushing the button just toggles it back and forth. Finally, the last thing this unit does well is that it has audio jacks on the front of it. These are powered by USB audio, and can be extremely handy if you are looking to share a headset and mic between two computers along with Keyboard, Video and Mouse. How well these work with applications depends a lot on your operating system(s) and the headset and mic, but should be fine with most Windows and Mac systems. Linux will probably take a little more fiddling. If you're looking for a KVM switch that will handle HDMI, you may want to look elsewhere. I'm sure you could get it to work with adapters, but that adds extra links into the chain that could create headaches. I suspect this company makes a different switch that would be better for that purpose. If you're all DisplayPort, though, and have three monitors, your search for a KVM has likely ended.

Ok

One of the better KVM switches I have owned
I have tried many KVM switches over the years looking for something that would handle the variety of devices that I use. I use Mac, Linux and Windows. My main setup has a 32” 4K monitor, a mechanical keyboard and a wireless mouse. Getting these systems to work with a KVM has been an exercise in frustration for years. There has always been some gotcha that threw a wrench into the works and forced me to use a bunch of partial solutions. I used to have three keyboards on my desk, a multi-channel mouse and the computers all hooked up to a different input on the monitor.Ever since I have gotten one of these KVM switches I have finally had a workable solution where I can now use a single keyboard, mouse and monitor input with all my devices. I was especially happy that the cordless mouse works like a charm. I was even more chuffed to find that my RGB keyboard could be controlled through the KVM. These were the sorts of things that other KVMs choked on. This one passed with flying colours. I am now able to reduce the clutter (extra keyboard and mouse) that I used to keep on my desk.Once when the keyboard did not respond I was able to switch the KVM off and on with the switch on the front of the unit and everything worked fine. That’s something I really appreciate. Some KVMs draw power from the connected devices. While that seems convenient at first it makes for a beastly experience when troubleshooting. With those other switches, every device needs to be disconnected in order to reset the unit. Pulling a half dozen cables out of the unit and then reconnecting them all in the right spots and doing it over and over again is a huge pain. This switch does away with the problem by having a power switch. My thanks to whomever took the time to design in this convenience. What a difference such a little thing can make.Switching between computers is accomplished either by the buttons on the front of the unit corresponding to the computer you want to connect. A second option is a wired remote switch that can be located at a distance from the actual KVM switch box. If the KVM is in a hard to reach location this remote is very helpful. The KVM does not have hotkey switching. This is the one feature I feel is missing. It’s not huge issue but it is a capability that I miss. I expect this was done to reduce cost. I am happy to do without the hotkey switching in order to have an otherwise fully functional KVM.The package includes four USB 3.0 cables. For my setup I found the cables to be a bit short and I needed to use a longer cable for one of my computers. I also needed to use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter for connecting to the Mac.The switch will support two monitors. I don’t use a dual monitor configuration so I was unable to evaluate that aspect.I am really happy with this unit, and the only improvement I could suggest would be to add hot key support for switching between systems.

Good to have for decluttering and consolidating my setup
The KVM switch is something I needed to declutter all my computers and computer accessories. With this, I was able to recycle and declutter my extra monitors, speakers, keyboards and mice. And I was able to consolidate it into one working area instead of three. Switching among computers was seamless and it just works.Only thing I dislike about this is that the wired button switcher is extended from the main switch because it would have been better to just be on the main switch itself.
