Pretty easy to use. I did have to download an app, but that's easy enough. No ads in the app. After the initial app download, it becomes plug and play. Video quality is good and the lights are bright enough (unlike some borescopes I've had in the past)

Like most scopes, it is a good macro lens for closeups. I only have two complaints about it: 1 - I really wish they used a reputable app for viewing and controlling it, 2 - the flexibility and rigidity was not as stable as I was going for. Beyond those issues, it is a good little scope and functions well.

I ordered this because I needed to scope out some broken spigots behind my brick. I was able to connect this to my phone, download the app, and was in business within 1 minute. The app is incredibly intuitive and non-intrusive. It is one of those weird apps with an off-the-wall name and I was afraid I would forget it whenever it came time to use the scope. But the cool thing is that it recognizes when the camera is plugged in and automatically asks to open the app.The light at the end of the scope is nice and bright and can be controlled with the scroll wheel on the line. It also comes with some handy attachments to help retrieve lost items.The camera quality is way better than I expected. I thought it would have a fixed macro focus, but that's not the case. It is extremely versatile and is very clear at all times.The cable has a metal wire in it so you can bend it and articulate it however you want. This is helpful when pushing it into tight spaces.I'm honestly so happy with this and genuinely believe that nobody should own a home or car without one. It is incredibly useful and I can't see us never having one again.

These are pretty much a dime a dozen at this point. I own an older one that came with a screen, this just connects to the phone which frankly is easier and provides a much better picture. They come in pretty handy at times and it's the kind of tool that if you only use once a year it's still a home run as it will bail you out. Good value and a good tool to have in your arsenal.
