No leak, quality and stainless steel

For mixed cut-up fruit pieces, greens, or pasta or veggie salads, and so much more, this is a no brainer to tote along to either work or on a road trip. We traveled this last week to AR and took an ice chest with bottled water and sodas. Thankfully, I packed a pasta salad and placed it in the cooler as well to keep this Blockhütte Stainless Steel Lunch Box chilled on the road. It kept it at perfect refrigerator temperature, and was completely air tight and no water from the melted ice entered the container. The travel tote back is a nice addition should you not necessarily need it's contents cold. However, it fit almost too tight to easily place the box within it. I did finally defeat the ordeal although, in my case for the AR trip, I did not need it. The Fork/Spoon combo and it's storage pocket on the tote it the best I have ever seen...very high quality, weighty so you almost feel like you're at home picking out. But, the utentil pocket is not quite deep enough to totally encompass the fork/spoon. The extra waterproof rubber ring is especially nice to keep on hand. You don't find that extra anywhere - at least not that I've ever seen. Skip the unhealthy drive-thru's and pack your lunch in this high quality solid SS, waterproof lunch box. It washes up super easy for your next meal go-round.

This bowl is a versatile choice, ideal for transporting larger cold dishes like salads to work. It's also suitable for hot dishes, provided you have access to a hotplate or stove to warm your food in it. However, warming with a microwave won't work with a stainless steel container like this.It comes with a cool cloth bag that has a pocket for the spork and also a spare lid seal. I love its vintage style, with three snaps on the side to secure the lid tightly for a leakproof seal that helps keep my lunch salads from leaking even if they end up sideways in my lunch cooler.The box and pamphlet it comes with are all in German, so I had to use Google Translate to figure out what it said. To sum up, it's designed in Paderborn Germany and made in China, its made of 18/8 stainless (food-grade), and its dishwasher safe.I am not sure how much use the spork will get from me as it does not secure to the bowl itself and if I am just tossing an eating implement into my lunch cooler I have plenty of better options than a spork to choose from.Overall it feels like a quality bowl that should last a good long while.

I am always intrigued to examine a high-quality German manufactured item as there are many products that are superior in quality.This small lunch box appears to have been crafted along those lines.It is not large, yet, you could easily layer whatever food you would like to eat inside. There are TWO kinds of seals and the snap-lock mechanisms ( 3 in number)It is brushed steel on the outside.The BEST part for me in the "spork" utensil. NOW I want an entire set of the sporks that are finely and solidly crafted for everyday use and to have an entire large set on hand for get-togethers!The linen-type fabric drawstring bag, securely holds both items for carrying and storing.I suppose the fact that you cannot heat this for food consumption straight out of the container.However, you could remove a heated dish FROM the container, place it on a paper plate or other bowl and heat it up in a microwave.Great eclectic gift for yourself, or gifting purposes. Outdoor enthusiasts would be fascinated and appreciative of this gfit.I will do some more testing for the leakproof aspects of this item in the future and post my reviews

This is super nice quality. The metal is thick and likely to resist light denting. The seal is solid ad there is no leaking. In the 40oz size it is generous enough for a large meal. The "spork" is also made with quality and feels very solid in my hand. The included bag has a spork pocket and a drawstring, but my spork easily falls out of the pocket, and the 40oz container is a squeeze into the bag, so I probably will not be sing it. There is an extra seal included for the container. Overall I really love this container and can see carrying meals like pasta, stew, casseroles, etc. with me outside the house. $32 seems to be reasonable for this package.

The quality of the stainless steel container is excellent. I highly recommend this product. Easy to store and very useful. very easy to use and to clean and spill proof and has an airtight seal.

Hello. I received the box, but there is a transparent layer on the side of the rubber . When I cleaned it with soap and water, a gray color came out. I wiped it with a tissue and a gray color also came out on the tissue. Please, who do I contact to have the piece replaced?

I take overnight oats for my breakfast/dinner every day at work, so I needed a leakproof pot in my work bag. I've been using this now for at least a month and although it's quite pricey it's been fantastic. Leakproof and easy to clean it's been a great replacement for my old plastic one. The silicon seal is easy to remove and clean and you also get a spare one too so hopefully it'll last for a long time. Highly recommended.
