This is a very useful device for anyone that has USB devices that they want to connect to an iPhone. I have USB drives that contain files that I stored by backing up my laptop computer. To access these files I got this device so now I can plug the USB drive into this device and then plug the lightning connector into my phone and all the files are available to me in the files app. I can play audio files that contain music, I can read PDF files and display pictures that are stored on the drive. Before I had this I would have to send myself an email with a file attached to it from my laptop. That was slow and cumbersome. Now I plug in the USB drives and read the files directly on the iPhone. Another nice feature is that you can attach your charger at the same time you are using the USB drive, in case your phone is low on battery power.

This works great to connect an external hard drive to my iPad with the Lightning port. The hard drive shows up in the Files App. It needs to be used with a powered USB hub as the iPad cannot power the drive.

What great removing pictures from my iPad. Great product would purchase again.

So far, no issues running it for an hour with power. The adapter perfectly runs a fifine k668 microphone when powering the adapter at an almost unnoticeable latency. Connectivity seems reliable and straightforward; my iPhone recognizes my microphone straight away like other USB adapters. It also manages to charge my iPhone 14 at the same time (10V & 2.25A = 22.5w brick). The cable and lightning male port feel really sturdy, almost like it's a genuine Apple adapter. However, the adapter itself feels hollow, where pressing into it feels like plastic in comparison to the cable and port's premium feel.

Works as it should, great price able to use my ipad 5th gen with my Camera ( a different purpose ).

Does nto work the same as a genuine camera adapter. I have an audio device that works flawlessly with a genuine adapter but which never communicates with the phone using this

I hate recording video and audio separately. I use this to record from my Roland FP30x keyboard directly into my phone using iPhone camera app. Works seamlessly.
