FPV Remote Controller 3

I’ve been using the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 with my FPV drone and it’s made a big difference to the flying experience. The dual-stick controls are smooth, precise, and highly responsive, which gives me a real sense of control — especially noticeable when doing fast maneuvers or flying in manual mode. The ergonomic, compact design makes it comfortable to hold even for long sessions. It feels well-balanced and less tiring on the hands compared with bulkier controllers. Battery life is excellent — I get many flights or sessions out of a single charge before needing to recharge. The transmission range is also impressive, giving me plenty of freedom to fly without worrying about signal issues. Just picked up the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3, and honestly, it’s made getting into FPV way less intimidating than I expected. The build feels solid without being heavy, the sticks are super smooth, and the overall layout is really beginner-friendly. Pairing it was basically instant, and once I started flying, the response felt tight and really natural. If you’re new to FPV (or a seasoned pro) and want something that doesn’t fight you while you’re learning, this controller makes the whole experience way more fun. Definitely glad I grabbed it!

Definitely pick one of these up if you own an Avata 2 because this is the way it's meant to be flown, it's much better than the Motion Controller once you've got the hang of it. Also connects to PC via USB C and works in all the drone sims. Had to jiggle a few screws (as intended) to un-fix the left thumbstick in order to fly it in acro aka 'manual' mode. Very lightweight but still feels good quality, including the sticks/gimbals, buttons, dials, etc. and it's very comfortable to use. Has a little notch you can clip a lanyard to as well. Holds its charge for a very long time.

Using this with both the Avata 2 and Neo, and honestly — it transforms the experience. The control is far more precise and confidence-inspiring than the Motion Controller. Sticks feel great, gimbals are smooth and responsive, and every input feels instant. Pairing was effortless, and the ergonomics are spot on — lightweight but solid in the hand, even for longer flights. USB-C charging and excellent battery life make it practical too. It really should be included with the Avata 2 and Neo kits — it’s that fundamental to getting the most out of these drones. If you're looking to unlock full manual flight and real FPV control, this is the upgrade you won't regret.

Well made, good quality. quite small in my big hands but still very usable. Good for use with simulators as well. Be aware this communicates with DJI goggles which in turn communicate with the DJI drone so if you want to fly a real life drone rather than just practice on a simulator you will need DJI goggles as well.

My parcel didn’t arrive for whatever reason but amazon was amazing they gave me a full refund and i did go out and buy it at my local dji shop. it’s really high quality and really light at the same time!

This is a great addition for the DJI drones especially for those who are used to a traditional RC tx and can't get on with the Motion controller that gets bundled with the Neo & Avata drones. It's fairly lightweight but has a decent battery that I've yet to recharge, only had it a few days so far! Being able to use manual mode is a huge advantage over the Motion controller too! Links with DJIs virtual flight sim via a USB C which is great for no damage practice!

Ich habe mir den DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 für meine DJI Avata 2 gekauft um noch mehr Präzision zu erreichen, da mich der mitgelieferte Motion Controller der Avata nicht so überzeugt hat. Nach mehreren Wochen intensiver Nutzung hier mein ausführliches Fazit: 🎮 Ergonomie & Verarbeitung – top in der Hand Der Controller wirkt sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt ergonomisch super in der Hand. Auch bei längeren Sessions wird er nicht unangenehm oder schwer. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich griffig und robust an. ⚡ Steuerung & Präzision – absolut überzeugend Das Herzstück ist natürlich die Steuerung. Jeder kleinste Stick-Eingriff wird sofort und verzögerungsfrei umgesetzt. Besonders im FPV-Modus merkt man, wie präzise man manövrieren kann – enge Kurven, schnelle Richtungswechsel, sanftes Gleiten: alles kein Problem. Die Sticks sind justierbar und lassen sich auf das persönliche Fluggefühl anpassen. Weiterhin kann man zwischen FPV Modus und normalem Modus wechseln, indem man eine Schraube an der Hinterseite des Controllers fester dreht. 🔋 Akkulaufzeit – sehr zuverlässig Der Akku hält locker mehrere Flug-Sessions durch, ohne dass man ständig nachladen muss. Ich nütze den Controller nun schon seit etwa 10 Flügen, pro Flug etwa 40 Minuten und musste ihn noch gar nicht laden. 📡 Verbindung – stabil und ohne Aussetzer Die Verbindung ist extrem zuverlässig. Kein einziger Verbindungsabbruch bisher, auch nicht bei etwas größerer Reichweite. Das sorgt für ein hohes Sicherheitsgefühl, gerade bei schnellen oder weiten Flügen. 👍 Pro: • Hochwertige Verarbeitung • Sehr präzise und direkte Steuerung • Lange Akkulaufzeit • Stabile Verbindung • Individuell einstellbare Sticks 👎 Contra: • Bisher nichts ⚖️ Fazit – Profi-Controller für ernsthafte FPV-Piloten Der DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 ist für mich aktuell einer der besten Controller auf dem Markt. Er kombiniert hervorragende Ergonomie mit maximaler Präzision und einer absolut stabilen Performance. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
