I really love this book, now I’m finally waiting for the last one ♥️

Again Meng Xin Shi did not disappoint readers with this exciting and heart-pounding story. Every chapter was filled with great detail to the story plot. The main characters never disappoint in their banter as they journey out of one trap into another. One can read these as standalone stories but they are more tasty when you start from the first book. I would recommend this novel as it is such an engaging read and when you come to the last page you’ll thirst for more.

Volume 4 arrived in good condition and the adventure continues as thrilling as ever.Shen Qiao at the end of volume 3, and once more deserted by Yan Wushi, has killed two cultivators from the Hehuan Sect in the defence of two royal children about to be murdered for political reasons. He keeps one as a disciple and at the start of Volume 4 they set off for the mountains, only stopping for a musical evening on the way and meeting up once more with the whimsical Yan Wushi.I like the back politics because the new Emperor does not support Yan Wushi or his Sect, and YW is arranging a coup d'etat. In the meantime, he whisks SQ off for a spot of voyeuristic reconnaissance and then follows him - without an invite - all the way to Bixia Sect expressing his affection all the way - and flirting with him over the fish course when they arrive. YW has actually learned to view SQ with real tenderness. Some payback has come to him in that considering all his previous conduct, SQ does not believe him. The man who delivered him before to a serial abuser just for thinking that they were friends, is now demanding that they never be parted and talking about their special relationship. 'A-Qiao' does not know what to make of it.So many great moments for me in this volume but truly enjoyed the gathering of the martial artists at the Sword Trial Conference. Hehuan Sect are the new power and have scores to settle. Plus a famous and extraordinary cultivator comes from afar quite unexpectedly to battle Shen Qiao.It is so well written and exciting. Love, politics and martial arts - a great read.

Volume 4 of Thousand Autumns was just delivered this afternoon and I’ve already blown through it! It arrived in perfect condition, as usual.Let me first say that I absolutely love this series. I say this with each volume, but the official translator for this series is nothing short of amazing! I can’t wait for the special edition final volume!
