I love that this filter uses an app to tell you if you have a slow medium or fast leak or running of water. It was very handy when doing plumbing upstairs and I needed the water cut on and off and I had no one to help me. I just pushed a button on my phone and the filter shuts my water off. I like that you can pressure wash outside and not waste the filter by filtering all of that water while cleaning by simply telling it to bypass the filter.... Don't install the filter with the inlet/outlet pipes backwards like I did!! 🤦♀️ Seems simple enough to do it correctly but took me forever to figure out why it wasn't letting water pass through but eventually I got it and took it all apart and flipped the pipes and it worked perfectly.

Great water filter. Designed for a whole house but I use it under my kitchen sink because I live in a Condo and like the larger size filtering system. I change the filter every three to four months, it is easy to use and removes lots of stuff. It is my second one in more than 12 years. My water is very soft and tastes great. It's good on my coffee pot too. I love it.

I've always wanted a way to monitor and control water usage just because I'm a techie. That said, this device is amazing. It's small and was easier to install than I would have expected (I did have a licensed plumber do it but the quick connects that come with the unit eliminated any soldering). As for operation, 2 days after installation I got an alert of "low continuous flow". Turns out our guest bathroom has been having intermittent fill issues and I never knew (it's so quiet you can't hear the water running without taking off the tank lid). The app shows you real-time water usage and has several alerts for possible water leaks. And the kicker, you can remotely turn off your water! The filtration is a nice bonus but not what I purchased the device for (our city water is pretty good compared to most). I believe the trade off of $120/yr in filters will be paid by the water savings from small issues like the running toilet and provide insurance against any major problem. Definitely glad I put this in and would recommend to others.

The filter system is moderately priced and has some cool tech. The water filtration using their most advanced filter was very good and I didn’t notice any reduction in water pressure. I think it is nice that they do offer two other lower level filters so you can set your budget for replacement costs. The app has some useful information, but it crashes allot on my iPhone. Maybe they will fix that in later versions. It is yet to be determined if this tech is worth the extra money, but it is great to know how much water you are using and get an alert when the filter needs replacement. Installation would be easy if your plumbing matched the default setup. They use Sharkbite connectors. In my case I needed to do some planning and spend another $100 in extra parts to get it in. For most I would recommend professional installation. The built in shutoff makes it easy to change filters with minimal mess. Be sure you plan a power outlet close by and good internet signal. If you don’t have these two items you should probably choose a different model.
