I opted for this purchase as I was tired of unpacking our normal size printer (even as compact as it was). We are full time in an RV and it was getting frustrating having to retrieve it from the outside storage bin, set it up and then box up again, all to print a one page document or label. This thermal printer is fantastic in my opinion. It's extremely portable, lightweight and the fact you do not need any ink is also a game changer. How many times have you gone to use your printer and the ink is all dried up or you're out of toner? And the additional cost for those items? I've run into that in the past way too many times. This thermal printer, none of that; however, this only prints black; no color. The print quality is sufficient in my opinion. I've printed from the computer and the phone, without any issues. I did encounter one difficulty when changing paper sizes but leave it to my husband to get it work! He was even impressed as he was skeptical as to why I would need yet another printer and then saw the light! This is compact enough to throw in a work bag, backseat of your car, etc. Extremely portable. The machine offers several options for paper; continuous (which I've purchased but yet to try); single piece of paper option; labels, etc. I've tried the roll that comes with it, which is fine but if you're printing a two page or more document, it's a continuous print, it' doesn't stop at each page for you to tear off, it's one long print document. So select one page at a time is my suggestion when printing. I also tried the 80mm paper rolls and they work as well, just have to move the paper tabs to support it. With that size, it printed right on the edge, so you may want to scale down your document a bit or not. I am using the Phomemo paper products for now. This product is still relatively new to me so longevity not sure but for now, no complaints.

Works fine. Suites my casual, periodic, printing needs. And, no astronomical ink expense like ink jet printers! Quality is no were near ink jet or laser printers but that print quality, for me, is not required.

This printer did NOT print. It was defective in that the paper did not move or feed normally. What was really frustrating about this experience was the company’s designated customer service number for troubleshooting, was ineffective and virtually useless. My first initial contact provided no resolution, and I was told a supervisor would contact me in 48 hours. 48 hours!!! I bought the printer for a printing job I needed to do the next day, 48 hours is unacceptably ridiculous. I pressed customer service to please do better, and then they informed me the supervisors were in China and unavailable, plus they only communicate via email. Six hours later I did get an email, and I responded with all the requested information and screen shots. Three hours later when they responded back, it was already 1AM, and now pointless. Their email asked me if I wanted a refund or replacement, which was strange, as Amazon would take care of that. When I asked what they would do differently than Amazon, I got a response a day later telling me to contact Amazon, and that it takes 48 hours to resolve tech issues. Totally useless customer service. Needless to say I returned the printer. Hope this helps for those that may be on the fence. Despite the good reviews, I got a defective printer, and customer service was a waste of time and ineffective.

Excellent purchase! I am so glad I purchased this printer! It is compact, easy to use, to set up and quality of print is great. Great printer if you travel for business. The customer service is exceptional and they are quick to respond! I would recommend this printer to anyone!!

The product itself was packaged nice and everything worked. However, it did not do what I thought it was going to do. It is not going to replace a printer that you would use in everyday life. It comes with specific paper to use and can only use that specific type of paper. It has cutting teeth like tin foil that you have to use to rip the paper off once printed. It also does not print in color, only black and white. It would be useful for printing shipping labels or receipts but that’s about it.

This compact printer does the job of the big boys. Look out Canon, the Phomemo M832 does it all without the paper jams and and empty ink cartridges you have been frustrating me with until I threw your misbehaving bulky contraption in the trash. Phomemo is great great great especially for its print quality, jam resistance, and ease of setup.

A portable spin to printing. Clear and easy to read. These prints are mail ready, print as much as you need on the go and buy extra rolls, no ink needed. If storing, these prints may fade so they are only really good short term as it doesn't use ink. I wouldn't recommend printing contracts.

The media could not be loaded. The rolling of the paper is annoying but beyond that this is so convenient.
