Solo card game in a small portable box
Why did you choose this product over others?: Sherlock solitaire is, as the name implies, a solo game with a loose Sherlock Holmes theme. A surprisingly tricky card game that plays in 10-15 minutes. The rules are not instantly simple to understand but after a few play throughs using the rule sheet it’s easy to get the hang of but challenging to win. Dark moody artwork on the cards with a set collection type aim but with penalties or actions for having too many of one card type in certain areas. Much in the same way as regular solitaire, I find myself playing multiple games until I achieve a win! It’s slightly addictive in that way! Overall a great small box solo game which you could play almost anywhere. It requires a bit of table space but isn’t a real table hog. Recommend for a quick addictive card game that can be played over and over again.

Spiel kommt aus US , kommen noch Steuern dazu ! Karten schön illustriert , Spiel macht Spass für zwischendurch , dauer ca. 20 min. Kleine Packung gut zum mitnehmen . Thema unbedeutend .

Juego tipo puzzle entretenido. La temática de sherlock holmes es totalmente irrelevante. Podría ser de sherlock o de unicornios, al final es un juego de estrategia y encajar cartas. No mata pero entretiene. Por el precio está bien

The game plays very much like a puzzle to solve. When playing cards to one of the two zones, they can interact and create a combination of actions to achieve the goal or inadvertently cause an adverse reaction that may lead to losing the game. This is similar to a regular game of solitaire, but with a little more depth of strategy and interactions with the characters abilities. Even with the added strategy, it is not overly complicated and is enjoyable and relaxing to puzzle out. I am surprised at the minimal amount of goals or cases to solve but with the way the game plays, it doesn’t necessarily effect the repeatability. At 55 cards it is certainly a game that is portable and will travel well. Additionally, it doesn’t take up a large amount of space and is quick to play and reset for the next game. The average time I have played is 15 minutes per game and the reset is simply shuffling all the cards together again. Great addition and a very accessible price point.

Pretty simple solitaire game. The theme is incidental and the fancy graphics means nothing other than there is two suits and 4 values in the deck, dictating how you play your hand and the stacks. 5 stars because custom solitaire card games implementing classic rules are a good thing that needs encouraging. No rogue-lite craziness, stats taking or fancy chit tracking here, it’s a good old solitaire game. The real challenge is when playing with no wound card, ending the game on the first misstep like any solitaires. The wounds are mostly there to help with the chance in general in all solitaire games.

The puzzle in this game is extraordinary. You draw four cards and play two on your right (desk?) and two on your left (research). One way or the other. I don’t play for the theme. I play for the puzzle. Nonetheless, you have to play the cards in a certain way and the cards you draw makes for some serious decision making to help complete the goal. I’ve only played the basic version and I’m usually one card away from victory. Very challenging and sometimes frustrating, but definitely worth it. I have only won once, and it was very satisfying after several losses. If you like puzzl-y solo games. You’ll enjoy this one. Card draw is obviously random, but it’s still great fun because you manage how those cards are played. I recommend. Card quality is good. Those are the only components.
