This book is effective as an ebook, but the paperback would be the better purchase so you can view the images easier. Gentle exercises for your feelings
In this book you can find 35 simple exercises for stress management and emotional resilience. All exercises are accessible and doable by everybody. The first chapters delve in different topics like helping us to get to know our bodies and sensations, and where emotions come from; or why it's important to recognize stressed how to contrappose relaxation. I'm not fully convinced of the usefulness of all the exercises proposed and I felt I needed a deeper scientific explanation of each moevemtn's impact on the nervous system. Also, I'd prefer photos to illustrations. Yet, overall, it's. good buy.

Anecdotal
Anyone who has done yoga, meditative stretching, meditation, or basic energy work is probably advanced in the areas covered in this book. Relies heavily on yoga and stretching postures. The only thing that it presents as possibly very important is the sequence that the postures are practiced. I saw no postures that are not readily covered in basic or beginner books. The choosing particular postures and which precede or follow these postures is the only โnewโ information presented to me. Students of energy work or meditation will probably not find anything new either. Serious research is implied but not presented. I have no problem with the authorโs positive reactions to the program. This contains much information that is good and useful for following. Itโs just that this book is anecdotal from the author. Itโs very good but donโt be misled that youโll find new information or procedures. I am always thirsty for new information and quality research in this area. This book does not offer me much in that area. If it calls to you then Iโm sure you will benefit. Just donโt look for new data that you have not seen before.

This Book Is Truly a Gift for Yourself or Someone Else
You can tell the author truly cares about healing people and put their whole heart into this book. It is simple and very helpful. I contains easy things to do to help you reduce stress so is for everyone who lives in the modern world. It is also good for anyone who has pain or trauma. I will use some of the material in my yoga class. Thank you so much!

Somatic Healing
I just got this book and it looks very readable, easy to use and helpful. I have done this work and have given people the idea that this works, and this is a good road map. I haven't done enough with it yet to give a full review, but they asked, so here it is.

Great guide
I am a teacher of yoga, and I bought this book to help me recover from foot surgery in December. Because I couldn't do my regular practice for a couple of months, these exercises gave me emotional peace, presence and kept me in some mode of yoga. I plan to incorporate these somatic concepts into my teaching style in the future.

The exercises proposed in this book are quick and easy to do, with detailed explanations of how to perform them and the benefits they provide. Not only have they helped me improve my physical condition, but they also have significant benefits for reducing stress and anxiety. I believe everyone should try them; you won't regret it for sure.

This is a good book. Personally, though, I didn't learn much new. My biggest takeaway is that I'm already doing most of the exercises in this book as part of my morning yoga routine. However, if you're a beginner, I do recommend the book. Somatics is clearly and easily explained, and there's a good amount of exercises to try in this book.
