Its really good quality not cheaply made it was very easy to figure out and has a lot of power for the size of it definitely a cool little thing to mess around with in your free time!

No affiliates with amazon or barnett other than customer no other motives then best for your dollars in my experience It's a excellent x bow pistol with excellent accuracy and powerful as saying i chronograph it very well against the pse viper ss crossbow auto and both are exactly as described I've had the pse for years this is more powerful by almost 2 times the energy but both are excellent bows I have a ballista 400 dollar carbine and different products like that bear constrictor x lte and my Parker stingray blowfish bow and this is great much cooler than the cobra bows I've seen but not used much oil the cocking hinges and frictional aspects and she will move smoothly fast and shoots steel and alloy cheap 2 veins at 215 fps and the pse viper is at 165 both as advertised and I don't advise this but i dropped a 170 pound buck with my pse viper ss crossbow bolts were alloy razor tip rubber veins 2 shots head heart it was not responsible to do or smart but this hits way harder so just saying I got lucky and hit heart and head free sights don't do that but it's a great bow ! And can shoot other arrows of equal weight or heavier hell joking around i put a 20 inch crossbow bolt past 100 yards with my pse and this is better than that in powered measurements update 2025 July This bow has been absolutely amazing for price point and the size i own a pse viper low cost good not near as powerful as this barnett as I stated the pse if used professional litterly! It was capable of downing a 170 pound buck in Tennessee and not advising but this barnett hits a decent 20 to 35 percent harder roughly its held up well I have a closet of premium bows Martin to pse compounds hoyt and I stated I have a ballista bat crossbow carbine at 150 pound draw and its great but not as affordable or wear resistant as the hoyt i have Parker bows full size x bows and blowfish a bear x constrictor pro and my favorite x bow carbine pistol or general is ironically this its still 5 stars all the way i have no payed affiliates or reason to put anything more than my unbiased opinion its strings are easily replaced very easily obtained very universal though you want quality this isn't a cheaper cobra its a true blue 80lbs 215 to 240 fps bow! If needed you can if save fashion a restring line out of paracord but only due this if you're comfortable with it and experienced in bow physics !

So far this seems like a well-made mini crossbow. Two reasons I only gave it 4 stars: the instruction manual has the smallest print size that I've ever encountered. Required a magnifying glass to read. And the "scope" that came with it didn't work at all. Replaced the battery . . . still nothing. Tossed it in the trash. No big deal, however, because the bow is worth the price without it and I also had a spare EOTech scope (which cost 3X the price of the bow). Perfect combination.

Just a really high-quality pistol crossbow all I’ve had to compare to is my old cobra crossbow which works awesome but doesn’t have near the power of this thing very easy to put together very good instructions and five star product. This thing will definitely get the job done.

Pretty neat bow for learning

Good powerful and accurate, except for the sight. The sight runs out of adjustment before it's zeroed in.

This is a great pistol crossbow. Very easy to use and is very accurate. The cocking mechanism is nice and easy to use. Its a good weight and I do like the feature that lets you load three arrows into it. And its simple just load them on top of the other one. Im upgrading mine by putting a lazer sight on it.

Bought this new Demun Pistol crossbow by Barnett. My Dad had a Barnett crossbow for years so I thought I would try this out for my son. It took a few shots to sight it in. Our garden is only 30ft but it was more accurate than I thought. Didn’t want him shooting the squirrels so I got this awesome target. Great garden fun. Maybe a little too powerful...

This thing is amazing, the sound, the power, the accuracy and it is beatiful. Can be hard to crank for some. Update, after some use the string wear and can be hard to find online, i found 445mm string on aliexpress and they work great. Easy to replace with the service cord

This little crossbow is definitely not a toy and a ton of fun to shoot once you get itput together and sighted in. Which was incredibly easy to do in my opinion, because of just how consistently it shoots. The only downside is the bolt are fairly fragile and I have already broken 2 bolts just from target practice, and if you use a broadhead on a bolt. The added weight seems to warp a bolt after a few shots, leading to either the bolt breaking or firing so off target that it's basically a uncontrollable shot. So paying attention to the condition of your bolts is paramount for safety and consistency in using this tool.

first stage lock dogs were staying above rail after cocking and held nose of bolt high ( 2 broken bolts later to discover ) found if you slam handle back into locked position after full cocking the dogs would level out. 20+ shots later the problem seems to be gone with a firm close after cocking. The red dot is useless/not adjustable. down to 1 bolt using tripod and elbows on table with good scope getting 3" grouping at 10 yards. It is a backyard toy but be careful it will do deadly damage. hoping new bolts will improve accuracy.
