Versatile Rugged Scanner
I ordered this scanner after trying a couple of different brands that did not hold up well in our manufacturing environment. We manufacture transmissions and the plant is very oily/dusty. I added the forklift mounting bracket to one of the assembly lines (pictures included) to secure the scanner bases for charging.Battery lasts longer than previous batteries and scanner is constructed to be dust-proof. I updated firmware upon receiving and programmed to scan 1D and 2D barcodes. I ordered the kit that included scanner/battery/base/power cord & data cable. I certainly hope Zebra continues to make this model in the future as it has been a rock star for us!

Absolutely fantastic
We decided to bite the bullet and replace all our cheap warehouse scanners with these from Zebra. They are SO much better, and definitely worth the extra cost. We use them for inventory management and order fulfillment.- Very long scan range- Reads damaged barcodes almost unbelievably well- Zero scan errors after months of using them- Solid industrial enclosure with exactly the right amount of heftSetup can be a little complicated - you have to scan the right configuration barcodes to use it like you want. But the amount of configuration you can do is almost endless. If you download the full manual, there are hundreds of configuration options (use as a bluetooth keyboard, change the scan volume, among other things). Highly recommended!

Missing items - description misleading
Detailed item name said "Includes Cradle, Power Supply and Heavy-Duty Shielded 7 ft USB Cable" - none of those came with the scanner.

You can't beat Zebra
the receiving department at work has to scan a hundred or more things a day into our out of our inventory. They were using cheap scanners that had all sorts of problems all the time. I got fed up with all the grumbling and splurged on this monster and I wish I had gotten it 5 years ago. It is rugged, sturdy as a tank, and in the months since I bought it we have scanned more than 10000 things without a glitch.

Be careful !!
This is a quality Zebra Scanner at a great price. Be aware it is a grey market product that was originally shipped to Asia and then shipped to the US. According to Zebra it does not have a valid US warranty.
