My little girl has long hair and she gets knotted, she doesn’t like me brushing out the knots. I don’t want to hurt her from brushing too hard, this little comb helps a lot. First, I can hide it in my hand and she doesn’t see it. I can gently glide it to cut the knots out. It’s a win win situation.

We have two fluffy golden retrievers that sometimes get knots on their hind legs. They for whatever reason panic when they see scissors, making it hard to get rid of their knots and making them more unsafe to get (so much wiggling). This little tool has been super helpful. The little safety prong helps sure that we don't accidentally get the dog/their skin. The blade was nice and sharp, so it was able to get right through the knots!

It worked okay. I still had a hard time at getting the point of it through a knot. It was making the cat really angry lol. It did cut some of the bigger ones so I could try and brush out but no luck. I still had to get the shavers out. If you have a cat with the same problem you could give it a try but I would just cut them out. It is a lot easier.

I own a cat that is a mix of Persian and Siamese breeds. Due to his unique fur, he sometimes struggles to groom himself completely. The tool works OK. I have a rough coat collie and his hair gets knotted behind the ears. It is always nerve racking to use scissors to cut the knots, as I am afraid to get a part of his skin. The tool allows for a safe removal of knotted hair. It basically cuts off the tangled chunks without me having to worry about damaging any skin tissue. The tool is very similar to an envelope opener but is a great idea to use in this way. The rubber grip allows for a comfortable grasp, although I wish the handle was a bit bigger.
