Great solitaire game
The puzzle in this game is extraordinary. You draw four cards and play two on your right (desk?) and two on your left (research). One way or the other. I don’t play for the theme. I play for the puzzle. Nonetheless, you have to play the cards in a certain way and the cards you draw makes for some serious decision making to help complete the goal. I’ve only played the basic version and I’m usually one card away from victory. Very challenging and sometimes frustrating, but definitely worth it. I have only won once, and it was very satisfying after several losses. If you like puzzl-y solo games. You’ll enjoy this one. Card draw is obviously random, but it’s still great fun because you manage how those cards are played. I recommend. Card quality is good. Those are the only components.

High challenging puzzle in a quick game
The game plays very much like a puzzle to solve. When playing cards to one of the two zones, they can interact and create a combination of actions to achieve the goal or inadvertently cause an adverse reaction that may lead to losing the game. This is similar to a regular game of solitaire, but with a little more depth of strategy and interactions with the characters abilities. Even with the added strategy, it is not overly complicated and is enjoyable and relaxing to puzzle out. I am surprised at the minimal amount of goals or cases to solve but with the way the game plays, it doesn’t necessarily effect the repeatability. At 55 cards it is certainly a game that is portable and will travel well. Additionally, it doesn’t take up a large amount of space and is quick to play and reset for the next game. The average time I have played is 15 minutes per game and the reset is simply shuffling all the cards together again. Great addition and a very accessible price point.

Good game if you don’t have long to play
I enjoy this game, but I wish there were more than 2 cases to solve. One I “solve” about half the time. The other I’ve never been able to solve. It’s been a while since I read Sherlock, but I have no idea what the pictures on any of the cards represent. They are attractive. They have nothing to do with the game. In fact, I can’t find much of anything about this game that has anything to do with Sherlock. It’s just a gimmick to get you to buy the game. It’s easy to learn & play, and YouTube videos are helpful. It’s not easy to win. You just have to collect the correct cards in the correct order. It doesn’t take long to play. Almost too short.

Great!
If you like solo card games and especially solitaire, you will love this game. The cards are nice quality and there is a lot of replayability. I will warn you it is not that easy. I have won, but it is a challenge, and since it plays quickly you can play multiple games in one sitting. So losing is not so painful!

You aren't solving a mystery.
I give this a 3 because you aren't actually solving anything. This game takes a little more thought than Klondike solitaire. The artwork is very nice, but has nothing to do with the actual game. The quality of the cards and box is great. I had to search YouTube to ensure I understood the game which I didn't after reading the directions a few times. You don't use clues to deduce anything. Instead you build sets of alternating number and letter cards to make 3 sets (thus the artwork has no meaning to the game). Search for this YouTube to get a very good look at how the game is played: Sherlock Solitaire: Solving Mysteries Through Hand Management!

Elevated Solitaire
This game took me a play through to get, but then really enjoyed it! It really feels like an elevated solitaire game. There are different variants so you won’t get bored and the art work is nice. There is strategy but not the kind that makes your head hurt. Quick set up and doesn’t take up too much table space.

Fun, simple, yet challenging card game
This game is quite unique. The rules are easy enough to learn and remember, but the games are not overly easy to win. It requires luck of draw and some good strategy to best the game. I love it, and take it with me on most travel trips. My 10 yr old kid also likes the game and is able to grasp the rules.

Case packaging could use some work. But still a great game.
The case: The card case is... Well... Interesting. Instead of a deck of card style case you get a thin case with two dividers to evenly split the cards in. Can't say I'm a fan of that. It feels like you're putting more maintenance in putting the game away then you are setting up. The cards: The art of the cards are beautiful. Really gives that dark and stormy night mystery feel. The "threat" cards give an ominous tone but not enough to feel disturbing. Just take note the numbers/letters are on the top only. Just make sure your card are all upright before you shuffle. Gameplay: Your standard solitaire difficulty. the survive "three wounds and it's over" takes it up a few notches. The ability features gives alot of options in placing cards around. For a moment of playing I almost felt like I wasn't playing a solitaire like game which is great.

juego entretenido
Juego tipo puzzle entretenido. La temática de sherlock holmes es totalmente irrelevante. Podría ser de sherlock o de unicornios, al final es un juego de estrategia y encajar cartas. No mata pero entretiene. Por el precio está bien

A solid Solitaire variant.
Pretty simple solitaire game. The theme is incidental and the fancy graphics means nothing other than there is two suits and 4 values in the deck, dictating how you play your hand and the stacks. 5 stars because custom solitaire card games implementing classic rules are a good thing that needs encouraging. No rogue-lite craziness, stats taking or fancy chit tracking here, it’s a good old solitaire game. The real challenge is when playing with no wound card, ending the game on the first misstep like any solitaires. The wounds are mostly there to help with the chance in general in all solitaire games.

Looking for a challenge?
Pretty fun but hard to win in solo mode. Haven’t played co-op yet. The cards do slide around in the box a bit as they decided to split the box into two piles to keep the box thin, and you have to tilt the box to get them out. Easy to understand rules and challenging strategy. Reminder cards are useful. Can be played on a smaller table easily.
