PHILTOP 3.5" Cold Air Intake Kit for 1997-2000 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L, Red

Purchased this a year ago and still haven't had any issues. The intake and filter is always snug with no movement. Never have to worry about your filter falling off and no issues whatsoever with MAF sensor location. I posted a picture of it a year later and still looks great. Highly recommend

Missing one nut but that did not stop me from building this on my truck, sounds amazing and feels better, the instructions were a bit hard to understand but I went off of what most cold air intakes are built like from references and did it

The fitting under neath the coolant tank reservoir, is impossible to make work. I had to make shift a whole new part to plumb it up when the cold air intake was made clearly wasn’t well thawed out for a F250 04 6.0 I don’t suggest buying unless you’re willing to struggle for hours and make some makeshift parts

The intake itself is pretty good. The metal housing produces a resonant sound, which is a bit annoying. Tape solves the problem—you need to seal up all the openings. But overall, it’s not bad at all. The metal housing fits into the mounting points of the original plastic box.

Excellent for the price, the performance feels great and also you can hear it. All parts were included correctly. And it’s very simple to install.

This was a really really nice piece!! I feel this Is better quality than the K&N air intake/filter.. However, My box delivered was beat up a little from transit, I’m guessing; but I was missing one small piece.. It didn’t come with the barbed hose fitting. I took out the contents and dry fit everything in my house, i realized that he fitting was missing. I went to multiple stores to try and find one bc that would’ve been more logical, however; the threading was hard to match.. If i only had that one fitting, this would’ve been an amazing upgrade for my son’s truck..
