I do a lot of research when looking for the best item. Not necessarily the most expensive but one that fits the specification for purpose. This particular dash cam is perfect. I had it for about a year, but within this year there was a fault with it. Basically the camera didn't stay on it's just kept turning on and off. I contacted customer service via the email in the instruction book, and they were very prompt in resolving the situation. After a few diagnostic checks there was nothing that could be done. (Now I am not just saying this) throughout the whole communication they acted polite and professional. They actually ordered me another dash cam without fuss. (Which I received very quickly. This one works perfectly. The dash cam is good and sturdy. It is of good quality. It has good features, with easy menu control. Easy to access on my mobile phone. Picture quality is good. Installment instructions are simple. I wired my cam properly so it is on 24/7, rear cam also. The customer service was able to accommodate my situation and I am satisfied with the cam and customer service. I would recommend this product, it is a reasonably Good price, between cheap and expensive. It is also a good size; small and compact, with very easy button functions. 👍🏾

I have been using a generic £30 camera from Amazon for a few years and it's got WiFi which is why I hung on to it. I got a brand new car so decided to treat it to a 4K dash cam. This one is superb value for the money (I paid £100 whilst they had a £20 reduction offer available) and I have been blown away by the quality and ease of use! The camera attaches to the base with magnets. This means that the camera is easy to remove for security if you've parked in a dodgy area. The camera takes its power from the base (the same as a NextBase does) so there is much less visual clutter as there's no power cable attached to the camera. The fact it comes with GPS included and built into the camera itself is a bonus as you don't need a separate GPS module cluttering your windscreen. The camera also comes with WiFi and can be used with an app. This allows you to view and download your videos from the camera directly - no more needing to try and find someone with a computer to extract the files. This is one of the main reasons I chose this model. The rear camera module is attached to the rear window (or boot trim, your choice) with a double sided sticky pad and is fully adjustable to get the perfect angle. It is very discreet as it's not big. With my tinted windows you can't see even see the camera when behind the car. They also include a really good plastic trim pry tool (I didn't realise until half way through installation!) This means you can easily hide the wires behind pillar trims etc. I have had two of the most expensive Nextbase cameras and both failed (luckily within warranty) and recently had a NextBase 322GW with interior cam installed in my Mom's car - within 6 months her Nextbase was frozen on the load screen and no amount of using the reset button fixed it. I've been so impressed with the camera I've now ordered one for my Mom to replace her busted Nextbase. My advice is to buy this camera over any crap from Nextbase. Buy one, you won't regret it.

EDIT: after my original review was posted, Kujira from the wolfbox team reached out to clarify any information that i needed and also offered a 20% refund. great customer service and very friendly and helpful this device is great for the price. it’s easy to sync to your phone and access its videos through the app but it’s a difficult process to fit it to your car. the front dash cam is easy to set up but nowhere on the amazon listing does it specify that the camera is for a reg plate dash cam. the way my car is built i can’t access the lights for the rear reg plate easily and so i had to fit it to my rear window. furthermore the cable to the device is a lot thicker than you’d expect. i’ve had dash cams before with very thin cables but these are quite a lot thicker and thus you struggle to push it under the fabrics or plush bits to hide the cable. also, the rear camera has wejrd wire connectors. they are even thicker than the wire itself and you definitely cannot just tuck it under the lining of your car. it has two of these, both i have had to come up with a way of hiding them away from sight. otherwise, the camera quality is great and the settings menu is easy to navigate!

Good dashcam decent quality video but mine stopped working after two years and out of warranty and they have stopped making them. Whats even worse the existing cables are not compatible with the latest models, so apart from the cost to replace it the cables have to be replaced thats more time and money.

I did a google search for highest rated dash cams and this Wolfbox unit came up near the top of the ratings. I was in the market to replace my current unit that only recorded forward, and this one records both front and rear video in at least 1080p. The front camera can record up to 4k. Installation is simple, but comes with a few extras that may initially confuse you, but end up being rather thoughtful. Firstly, it’s helpful to know or map out exactly how and where you install this unit before you do it. And this is because you must first install a transparent film layer on your glass where the actual units will ultimately stick to. This film allows you to relatively easily remove the device should it need to be relocated or removed. The film is there so the 3M adhesive does NOT stick directly to the car glass and create a situation where you may damage your glass upon removal. Unfortunately the kit only includes 2 films, but they are approx 2”x3” wide so definitely big enough to provide some mounting flexibility. I was concerned the film would show so I ended up cutting them in half, but in retrospect, I really didn’t need to as they apply and stick fully transparent. Knowing how you will route the cables ahead of time will be of great help, because the rear camera connects on the left side of the unit, opposite of main power and may present some mounting options issues. I decided to mount mine directly behind my rear view mirror, in the same location as my original unit. Because I had the unit on the underside of the shaded glass area, I was initially concerned that it would inhibit the GPS function. It did not. However, the unit can take up to 2.5 mins to acquire a GPS signal, and from there all tracking info including speed, date and coordinate location is automatic. Keep in mind that the rear camera cable is exceedingly long and according to the instruction manual, it is meant to be routed on the outside of your vehicle above the license plate. I instead opted to mount the unit on the inside center of my rear window and had to try to deal with all the extra cable. The field of view of the rear camera is very wide and even from the inside, it covers the entire width of the rear window. Mounting the unit inside protects the camera, but be sure to keep your rear glass relatively clean so dirt and water spots don’t interfere with the clarity of the video. The rear camera records in 1080p with the front up to 4K. Camera settings allow you to choose a preferred combination of resolutions. I decided to keep both at 1080p for simplicity and to keep file sizes smaller that will allow more recordings kept on my SD card. I did notice tho that even though you can choose recording loops of 1, 3, or 5 minutes, if you have a video that gets interrupted before the total time, eg you turn off the car before the full 3 mins is recorded, that video is NOT saved. This may be a very bad thing. I’ll need to test a bit more to confirm. I also noticed a long period where the although the camera was on, it did not record any video for weeks. I didn't catch that until I went to review my videos. I don't think it was an issue with the camera rather more of an operator issue, as it is functioning normally now. Otherwise, I love that the front camera connects to the mount separately to make it easier to remove for maintenance. It turns on and off automatically with my vehicle, and recording starts immediately when the unit is powered on. The camera options are simple and easily accessed thru 3 buttons and the power button which doubles as your select button. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the performance of this camera both front and rear. Video quality is outstanding in both day and nights, however I either play my music way too loud or the microphone is too sensitive as my audio seems like it’s blowing out the mic’s capability to record cleanly. However, the audio was initially very clear, and I may have done something to affect its quality while playing with the settings. The display can show either front or rear or both, and will automatically go dark after 2.5 mins to keep distractions to a minimum. I contacted the manufacturer to obtain additional 3M mounting tapes for both the front and rear camera, and because they said they don't sell those separately, they sent them to me for FREE! The first shipment was damaged and I received only the front stickers, so they sent me another shipment containing the rear stickers AGAIN! Such awesome and responsive service! It's easier to view your videos by removing the micro SD card and connecting it to a computer. However, there is also an app that you can download, and although it works fairly well, downloading the video on the ad-hoc wifi network the camera creates can be slow and tedious. I highly recommend this camera for its ease of use out of the box, outstanding recording quality and flexible resolution options, and above all, affordable price.

The dash cam is good with regards to the product quality, options & photo / video image but doesn't live long as after 18 months of usage the dash cam stop functioning and just keep restarting.

Quoi dire, j'ai rencontrer un petit problème avec ma caméra, le vendeur s'est de suite proposer de me renvoyer un nouveau kit complet, et en supplément, le kit Parking offert, il mérite vraiment ses 5 étoiles, voir même plus. Si tous les vendeurs pourrais prendre exemple sur lui !!!
