You must fully understand BLE to make it work.
I understand the basics of BLE communications and have successfully used bluetooth modules with various Arduino modules. I was hoping I could easily and quickly get BLE communications going between two Nano33BLE modules but not going to happen soon. To get this Nano33BLE to work requires a complete understanding of BLE communications which I have neither the desire nor the time to accomplish. It does work somewhat but not doing what I need so I will probably send the modules back to Amazon.

Softwareserial won’t run.
Doesn’t support software serial, moving to an esp32 and disconnects from programmer after upload requiring changing com ports every time you upload, but other than that runs code well.

bought two. one worked for few days then never turned back on. we tried different cables, different computers, and a battery, nothing turned it on. second one lasted two weeks then the same happened. no physical damage, nothing. they just seem to brick after a bit

Can’t get it to receive bluetooth
I’m probably misunderstanding how this works but I cannot get my computer to recognize it as a Bluetooth device. Idk if mine is defective or if I’m just incompetent.

USB conn very fragile
Be very careful handling this board! The USB connector is very fragile and will come off easily, and being surface mount technology, is not easily soldered back on!!

Mit der Revision 2 funktioniert eine Folientastatur besser. Es gibt keine willkürlichen Tastendruckerkennungen.
