Corded Electric Hammer Drill
This is my first experience with a power hammer drill, be aware that my review is from a new-time user and not an experienced hammer drill user. So, effectively I'm speaking to a select group of users -- new-folks.I got this drill to learn with, because the vendor description seemed clear, cogent, and something I could begin to learn from. The user manual is 5 pages in 5 different language -- so about 26 pages in all.As a total new user, I am thrilled to have a list under "For safe working" -- that gave me the ability to look up on line words and phrases that I couldn't have sussed out on my own. From my neophyte perspective the location of the chuck key seems intuitively to be in an annoying location. If I want a firm grim on something's handle I generally don't have anything else suspended on or near the handle. My instinct is to unhook that chuck key, which means (knowing my work-habits very well, I'll misplace it unless I hook it onto the vest, belt, pocket or other hook on my pack/clothing. I know this very well from trying to deal with much smaller and less weighty equipment, so that takes some forethought from me.The other buttons and switches seem adequately placed for now. As I grow accustomed to the tool, that may change -- it has in every endeavor I've ever taken on. We all have preferred reach distances and general set-up preferences. So for me the buttons and doohickeys are all adequate at this moment in time.I cannot speak to the power of the motor, I wouldn't have a clue. As a new-user, if it works, it's good, if it doesn't then I need to explore whether or not I'm trying to do a task that falls within the parameters of the tool. That's true with any "tool".I like the second handle and it's placement possibilities. Since I have no established work routines, it functions effectively for me.I also cannot speak to its durability. Nor can I speak to it's price-point.I'll share again, for new-users like me -- it works and is what I have to learn with. I'm glad to have it in my toolkit until I outgrow it (if I do outgrow it).

Overall happy with this product
Corded hammer drill. Everything about the chuck is metal. Everything about this drill feels durable. The speed is variable based on how far you push in the trigger. The stop is plastic and flimsy but is enough. Just something that feels like it could snap off easy if not careful with it. Everything else about it feels durable.I'm a hobbyist wood worker and have this plugged in in my shop and will update if I run into any concerns with this drill. So far so good. For the price point this drill was at I gave it 5 stars as it has plenty of power for a plug in drill making my cordless drills feel weak as it should.

Lightweight and powerful drill
This drill is the perfect size and weight for my needs. I'm lucky to have both a press drill and a cordless drill at my garage workshop, but neither helped when trying to drill through set tile in the bathroom. The hammer drill here is powerful but it's quite lightweight. The hammer action works well, and the drill doesn't get too hot during extended use (though it helps to stop and go as you're drilling). The 1/2" chuck will accommodate most every bit you can throw at it, and two-handed operation makes any job much easier. I like the build quality, but I'm not a professional and this only sees occasional use, so your mileage may vary. For folks like me though, definitely recommended...

lies in the description
It really burns me. this drill, while capable, does NOT have a "hammer only" switch. it's a "drill & hammer" and a "drill" switch, so you cannot get a hammer motion only, which makes this useless to me.

Speed, Power, ...and Impact Too
'Most any corded electric drill will drill holes in wood, plastic, and sheet metal...although few have the rotational speed range and torque the Towallmark unit offers. But this drill also has a hammer feature that imparts impact thru a carbide drill tip, making it possible to drill a hole in concrete and other very hard material. We tested in on a fossilized rock (probably harder than most concrete). It made the hole more quickly and easily than expected, without visibly dulling the carbide edge. Well made, with convenient controls. Still, as stated in the accompanying manual - 'Not for commercial use". A good value for the cost. ~ The Duffian

Great for DIY Around the house
I like that this drill has a handle and a stick to measure the distance. It helps streamline drilling into concrete and knowing when to stop. My old drill didn't have either which made it harder to work on concrete. I can keep a steady hand while drilling thanks to the handle. Since this is a hammer drill it makes drilling much easier than my other drill.

Worked like a charm
This is a great hammer drill for the price. I drilled six holes in bricks in just a few seconds. This worked great. For the cost this is a great value. It also came with a bunch of bits, unfortunately all metric. But it was still good. I do recommend.

Good drill
Not professional quality but this drill will do most of the tasks a home owner will face. It has an awkward speed adjustment in the trigger, but it does work. I drilled a few holes in hammer drill mode, beats your hands but drills holes with the usual ease of a hammer drill with a good bit. Having a corded drill gives you a lot more power than your battery tools and is refreshing. This tool is a good value for a homeowner.
