I'm disappointed I didn't buy this giant tub of grease sooner; I have used it for so many things. I find it most useful for greasing o-rings and other rubber gaskets to help seal but also extend the life of the rubber. Also works great on rubber hoses to extend their life and to make it a breeze to slide on and off barbs. Would be nice if it came with an easy way to dispense the grease but it's fine, just needs to be loaded into another vessel like a grease gun or squeeze tube. Its not worth wasting your money on tiny amounts of this grease when you can just buy this one can to last you for years (or maybe the rest of your life!)

GREAT STUFF ! I use this for my pool filter o-rings, and also my watch-back o-rings. It is a great bargain, and it works way better than the stuff in the little tubes! Really professional, industrial silicone with a great consistance!

This product is no longer made and packaged in a 1 pound can. I ordered what was presented above (picture of a one pound can of Jet Lube) showing a one pound can (product number 73505) but was instead sent product number 73550 which is a 14oz tube dispensed via a caulk gun. If you cannot use a caulk gun for dispensing this do not buy what is advertised. Again, the one pound cans of Jet-Lube Compound are no longer made from what I was told. Overall, I'm extremely unhappy about this purchase as having this silicone dispensed via caulk gun for our applications is a non starter. Buyer Beware.

Received a 14 oz tube for a grease gun. Not the 1 lb. can as pictured. Excellent product but I wanted a can as pictured.

you can pay the same price for 8oz of this dielectric grease, or the same price for 4oz of the stuff. amazon sells this under different names, different quantities, and different prices, but this one is the best price, and it's all the same. this is a one lb can. buy your own acid brushes, and your set. put it on auto window rubber, or anything that rubs or slides, that petroleum grease would be messy for. paint it on your auto batt terminals to protect from corrosion. best thing since sliced bread.

Good price for the size. I have found so many uses for this stuff its amazing. From battery terminals to spark plugs to wiring harnesses and more this is a great product to have for any outdoor or humid service electrical connections. It is also great for lubricating O-rings.
