My son teaches and trains jiu jitsu, several days a week. The multiple pockets in this bag are amazing. The sweaty gi does not contaminate anything else in the bag as it has its own pocket. The back pack feature is also amazing. Seems durable.

This bag is made well and a good size to carry BJJ gear and spare clothes.The only slight complaint is the end pocket (not dirty clothes pocket) shouldn’t open so much. Sometimes everything falls out because the zippers go all the way around. 50% would be good. It opens all the way on both sides and top.

The convertible duffel to backpack mode is game changing. I was finding that backpacks were usually too small to fit all my gear but I always liked the convenience of them. The fact that this duffel/backpack is bigger than most Jiu Jitsu backpacks out there makes this one the winner. Switching between these modes is super easy too, making this bag perfect for travel.

I’ve been using the Grapple Gear gym bag for a few months now and honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve owned. The storage is impressive—tons of room for my gi, no-gi gear, water bottle, and extras. I really like the separate compartment for sweaty gear, especially after hard rolls. The backpack straps are super comfortable and make carrying it around way easier than a standard duffle. Quality-wise, it feels durable and well-stitched, like it’ll actually hold up over time. Definitely recommend it for anyone training multiple times a week. designed for grapple gear but would be great for a normal gym bag too. I love the color so considering buying another one.

Had the bag for 4 months with 3x a week usage. I take cure of my stuff so I didn’t rough house it. Recently the main compartment zipper broke so now the bag is almost useless. If it wasn’t for the zipper the bag would be 5 stars.

I love the concept of this bag. I can put my clean clothes in the main zipper area and put my dirty clothes in the end portion to unzip right over my washing machine when I return home to wash. There are also several zipper pouches to hold odds and ends.I will say that since this is a fabric material, it begins to hold smells from the sweaty clothes after training. My husband and I have been each using our bags for several months now and need to figure out the best way to clean it without tearing it up as the seams are a bit low quality. After about 3 months of use, one of our bags seams ripped apart during normal use. I would love if the seams were reenforced to make them sturdier.
