Very good lock and quite strong. Only drawback is if gets wet seams to rust very quickly. If your putting on shed or outdoors cover with plastic. Reasonable priced.

Quality padlock with 5 keys.We needed a big sturdy padlock for our garden gate and this one had all good reviews so ordered it.Its been outside in this awful wet weather we are having and it's easy to open and close and showing no signs of rusting.We will wd40 it every couple of weeks .Very pleased and would recommend this padlock .

Not really sure about all the glowing 5 star reviews on these padlocks if I’m honest. I can only assume most people rating them highly aren’t using them outdoors. The main reason I bought these was because the advert itself shows photos of them outside, even one covered in snow with a chain, so I thought they’d be a safe bet. I actually went for two sets, so four padlocks in total. I’ve had them around 5–6 months now, and I tend to wait before leaving a review so I get a proper feel for how something holds up. Sadly, every single one of these has already started rusting badly, as you can see in the photos I’ve uploaded. I’ve had to resort to putting grease down the keyholes and into the lock chambers just to stop them jamming. Even though I lock and unlock them about once a week, the rust still keeps building up. It makes me question how the manufacturer can claim they’re waterproof, anti-corrosion, or designed for outdoor use when they’re clearly not holding up to even basic British weather. Definitely feels like a design fault, especially considering “weather resistant” is one of the selling points printed right in the listing. I’ll be contacting the manufacturer to see what they say, but thought I’d share this in case anyone else is thinking of using them outdoors. Might be useful for someone else weighing it up.
