These are great! I've tried a few brands and with others followed the listed instructions and had to modify to get the right constitution of boba. These worked perfectly following the provided instructions. Flavor was perfect too, no weird aftertaste like I had with other brands. My personal recommendation is to add simple syrup and a small amount of molasses to the boba when they are done cooking, this seems to give them the best teashop flavor. Make your own chai tea to go with them and you'll have something better than you can get at the shops. And with boba tea being around 8 bucks or more in my area it's so worth the effort!

I've become hooked on boba but the kits I got at the store were to much money to keep up. I tried to make my own at home but I couldn't seem to get it right so I ordered this. The directions are super simple the pearls are a good size. I actually like that they don't have flavor because I can add what ever I want to them. They cook well just make sure to add at least 3x the water to peals or it gets gummy on you like a syrup and won't cook right. I make big batches and put in the fridge. Once they get cold they firm up so I just heat them up for about 30 seconds every time I want a milk teat. I like this so much I ordered the larger size I think it's like 4 lbs I have. The bag doesn't reseal so I just store it in a freezer bag and keep in the freezer to keep the pearls fresh as it's been really hot lately so far it's been working great. I highly recommend this brand they are great and so simple and I have been using them in milk tea as well as iced coffee. I make 2 every day and probably put in two e the boba I need but it's good I can't help it. Mix the hot pearls with some brown sugar and keep in an air tight container in the fridge it's perfect!!
