Used to use the plastic kind and recently started to try to lessen exposure where we can. This was something I figured was easy enough to replace so I tried these and I will not go back to the other kind. They work great. Certain things need extra scrubbing so I’ll use my brush for those but the rough edge of this is perfect for the every day stuff.

Pros: great sponges, last a while, good quality. No odor issues. The right combo of scrubbing ability and softness. Cons: none, I’ll keep purchasing.

The big positive is that it's eco-friendly. It doesn't smell. This is the best, having a scrubbing side (with coconut fibers) and a gentle sponge side (with cellulose). Cleans super well, dries moderately quickly. Doesn't scratch surfaces, yet it gets stubborn stuck food out of pans. I feel so much better using these knowing I'm not ingesting possible microplastics, and that they are biodegradable. Great price, about the same if you were to buy those generic yellow-green ones in the store. It comes in flat, but when you wet it, it magically expands :) Works wonderful. Buying these from now on.

These sponges are great for wiping and scrubbing. I do wish they were just a little bit thicker, hence the 4 stars. Overall however, they are a great value and hold up well.

Works just as well if not better than a regular sponge in terms of longevity and scrubbiness. The top scrubby layer peels up after a bit but not in any way that meaningfully impacts its function. I’m always impressed by how clean the sponge stays vs regular sponges which hold stains and look dingy really quickly. And of course I love that these are compostable.

I love these sponges. I can use them and they don’t fall apart after a few uses. I am able to use them for more than a couple of weeks. They last longer than a month, but always change them out after a month.

These sponges seem durable and well-constructed. However, I have a few reservations. The fact that they are manufactured in China raises questions for me regarding adherence to environmental standards, as I'm not familiar with their regulations. Additionally, the exceptionally low price for twelve sponges makes me wonder about the overall production process and potential hidden costs. Positively, I'm very pleased that the coconut fiber side is gentle on my nonstick cookware and doesn't cause any scratching. They typically last about 5-6 days before developing a mildew odor, which aligns perfectly with my habit of replacing sponges on a weekly basis.

Love these, wont hold up to extreme scrubbing but definitely great eco friendly friendly option

They last longer than I expected. They’re perfect, for the price as well.
