The Ultimate Dock for Steam Deck and ROG Ally – Worth Every Penny!
This JSAUX RGB Docking Station is an absolute game-changer for my Steam Deck OLED and ROG Ally setup. The 12-in-1 design is incredibly versatile—everything from 4K@120Hz HDMI and DisplayPort to Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.2 ports works flawlessly. I was especially impressed with how seamlessly it handles high refresh rates on my external monitor without any lag or hiccups. The SD/TF card slots and the 3.5mm audio jack are nice quality-of-life additions that make this dock feel truly premium and all-in-one. The RGB lighting adds a slick touch to my desk setup without being too over-the-top, and the build quality feels solid and durable. It’s compact enough to fit neatly on my desk yet powerful enough to replace a handful of separate adapters. Whether I’m gaming, transferring files, or just working with multiple peripherals, this dock keeps everything running smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone with a handheld console who wants maximum connectivity with zero compromise.

Absolutely love this Dock.
In use with Asus ROG Ally X. Super great and cool looking dock. I’m running two monitors in addition to the Ally’s built in screen.

doesn't work with msi claw 8
garbage - doesn't work with an MSI claw 8. unworkable screen tearing. difficult RGB button. Odd decision to have the ethernet off to the side and the tray doesn't fit a case. If it worked, it would be convenient with all the connectivity ports. But, overall, it's an overpriced paperweight.

Sleek, functional and recommended over cheaper options of this brand
Sleek, colorful and works great! The only reason im giving 4 stars is because the pull out stand does not fit an xbox rog ally x. It can be balanced, but will fall off easily. Other than that, it's what I was hoping for. Works great!

Does what it "says on the tin"
The docking station does what it says in the description. The main reason I was looking for this docking was station was to use an ROG ally with a portable display and be able to also power that display on a single usb-c cable. I also had an external SSD that I was trying to use for gameplay on the SSD. You can in fact do this, but definitely test this capability. The ethernet jack and SD card reader are pretty sweet too. The rgb setting can be turned off, but if you unplug the dock, I believe the settings aren't saved. Overall a nice piece. As an extra test, I wanted to connect dual monitors. Though these use cases are possible, there is an issue about passing the correct screen resolution through a docking station in certain configurations. I'm unsure why in certain conditions the native screen resolution of 1080p doesn't work properly if you are also supplying power across a docking station and trying two monitors. I have tried 4 different monitors, 5 different usb cables and 4 different docking stations, as well as combo adapters. This is not a point against this docking station in particular but if you have specific needs, just make sure to test them. Regardless, this piece is nice for having one host usb-c and 2 other usb-c ports.

I wanted to give all possible stars!
I spent a day and a half messing with this dock! Trying to get it to work with Steam Deck. Think I fixed it ( will know when I reconnect my steam deck.) I like it but there were problems! The design is good, not as flimsy as some people were reviewing. Hopefully it holds up, so no return. Through the whole process I had two microsd cards erased, so a terabyte and a half of redownloading to do. Do I recommend?

Worth The Money
I bought this docking station for my legion Go and it's absolutely amazing! I've seen mixed reviews of this dock but I guess it's just a game of chance along with any item that you buy but it looks like it didn't have any flaws or anything. I love the RGB lighting that matches the thumbsticks on my Go. The HDMI port used to connect to a monitor or tv works great. I'm my case I connected it to my Samsung tv and it connected instantly. The 100w usb-c cable charges up my Legion Go so quickly that I do t even have to worry about my battery dying and I do t even need to take a break to get some more juice to the battery. The slidable tray is a little flimsy but is still strong enough to hold my Go. They definitely could have made it a little more sturdier but it does what it's supposed to. I would recommend this docking station to any consumer. It does what it's supposed to and the 12 slots make other devices connecting to if easy a useful.

Great for Steam Deck with VRR, but a poor solution for other devices
If you are buying this strictly for a Steam Deck LCD, it performs exactly as advertised. I successfully ran FreeSync Premium VRR with ALLM at 120Hz on an LG OLED TV. While the Deck’s native hardware struggles running anything natively at 4K/120Hz, it’s a solid setup for Moonlight/Steam Link streaming from a more powerful rig. I don't have a Legion Go or ROG Ally to test, but it sounds like they have made those devices compatible as well. However, "universal" compatibility is where this dock falls flat. It feels like JSAUX has applied some "secret sauce" or specific firmware tuning to force VRR and 120Hz compatibility for the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go, which seems to break the handshake for everything else. Despite being a premium-priced unit, I encountered significant handshake and resolution issues with every other DP-over-USB-C device I own: GPD Win Max 2 (2025): Constant flickering and black screen that eventually required a TV restart . ROG Zephyrus G15 (2021) & HP Business Laptop: Both failed to output 4K at 120Hz. Samsung Galaxy Fold 5: low resolution and eventually would cause the phone to crash and restart. Macbook Pro M2: surprisingly works at 4K 60 Hz I also tested the DisplayPort functionality on the same devices above with similar or worse results. When I reached out to JSAUX Support via Discord, they weren't able to help: they only guarantee compatibility with the specific devices listed on the product page. For a dock at this price point, that lack of broader device support is disappointing. The "Expensive" Workaround: I managed to stabilize the signal by daisy-chaining this through an Amazon Basics Thunderbolt 4 Dock (B0CPT8K52Q). Using the TB4 dock to "clean" the signal before hitting the JSAUX dock fixed the issues for my other devices, at least on Windows and Mac machines. Even after using this hardware fix, the setup was extremely unstable on some of my machines. On Windows I would get occasional flickering, and on Bazzite the dock would eventually fully crash my system regularly upon sleep or changing to game/desktop modes. Bottom Line: If you have a Steam Deck, it’s a win. If you’re looking for a versatile dock for a multi-device setup, be prepared for potential handshake issues unless you have extra hardware to bridge the gap and even then it's not great. If you don't specifically need HDMI 2.1 VRR, there are much cheaper, more stable options available out there.

Best dock for MacBook Pro thunderbolt
The best dock and you get yourself a thunderbolt compatible cable with 40gbps. I use it on my mac and did migration between different macs at blazing speeds. The cable alone is worth it but I use the dock with my mac more than steam deck.

Better than consoles, amazing dock for Steam Deck.
Best Deck for your Steam Deck. Has a HDMI 2.1 port, which most Steam Docks are missing, which means you can push more than 60 fps on your TV or Monitor when you paint this with the Steam Deck. And the Steam Deck itself is an amazing gaming machine, especially combined with a dock like this. No more paying monthly/yearly fees to Sony or Microsoft just for online cloud saves and to use online multiplayer. Get it all for free with this dock and the Steam Deck. I'm saving $600/year in fees no that I dumped Xbox and PS5. Do yourself a favour, get this dock, and a Steam Deck and you'll be in heaven.

rog allyで2つのモニターを使える!
HDMIとディスプレイポートが使えて2つのモニター表示できました。 こんな使い方する人はあまりいないと思いますがHDMIだけのものが多いのでとても助かりました!

Works great so far.
Currently working well at 240hz @ 1440p on my steam deck desktop mode to samsung G7 monitor. Build quality for the price could be better. You can turn the RGB off with the button on top; fun that it's there but not what sold me on this product. There are not many options currently with Display port 1.4 AND HDMI 2.1 + Ethernet so for that this currently gets a 5 Star. I feel like the cost will go down over time as the general market can copy the value. Recap for JSAUX: Improve build quality to stay ahead. UGREEN has less features for example but their build quality makes them more valuable for the long haul. It sucks to make something nice but breaks easily. Quality builds loyalty.
