Straightforward little adaptor
Been repairing an old VHS and Beta max video recorder and wanted to test it with camcorder tapes. This claimed to be able to adapt VHSc tapes to full size VHS and it did. Occasionally missed pulling the tape through but a loosening of the VHSc first and all was ok.

Clip stop working after inserting the tape once and the auto rewind never worked.

Made a mistake
I made a mistake with this purchase as I read it wrong it stated not compatible with Hi8 cassettes I apologise for the mistake. I am returning the item as the door won’t open to insert a cassette, and it has a new battery to operate the mechanism.
