Does the job well and won’t break the bank
I just had a hysterectomy 3 days ago. Right before I was put in a wheelchair at discharge from surgery, a nurse slapped one of these abdominal binders on me. My doctor never mentioned getting one prior to surgery to help with post-op pain and comfort, and I only know what a binder is from a nursing background. I’m so grateful they put one on me to remind me of these!! The one from the hospital was a 4 panel, and although it had a padded front which felt nice, I needed something smaller. I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs, and I have a short abdomen. I saw the price and reviews on this one and purchased the 3 panel, 12” one as it was a good value comparable to others that were more expensive but basically the same thing. I got it overnight. I am very pleased with the comfort, and in relief because of the support this binder provides! I was not sure if I would wear it all the time, but after reading some reviews online of women saying they only took theirs off to shower: I figured I’d try wearing it all day, and- I get it now, I don’t want to take mine off! I notice a big difference in pain levels and overall discomfort when I am, and when I am not wearing the binder: It is much more comfortable and I have less pain with the binder on, especially when sleeping. The fit is still a tiny bit big for me at 12”, but the 2 panel may be a bit too small, and I’d rather it be a little too long than not have enough support. It breathes well for a binder, I’m not expecting luxury feel from an abdominal binder, it’s meant to support and it does, and it’s honestly comfortable once you get used to it, kind of like wearing a bra. Putting it on by yourself is pretty easy, just takes some getting used to. Quality Velcro, and it’s machine washable. Going to pop it in the wash today when I take my first shower. I’m so grateful they make these affordable and quality so more people can experience a little more comfort during a painful process. I highly recommended wearing an abdominal binder if you are in a similar situation no matter what kind you purchase, but this one is not a bad choice!

Supportive, Firm, and Affordable
This is the third binder I've purchased since my tummy tuck 4 weeks ago. I kept the first and returned the second. I order this for same-day delivery because I needed a wider binder. I bought the 4-panel, 30-45" version and it is PERFECT. It provides support for my entire abdomen, not just the area that has stitches. If I had purchased this before my surgery, I wouldn't have suffered those first few weeks. I highly recommend this product for quality and price.

Firm, flexible, even compression that is decently comfy! Great price!
I bought this abdominal compression binder to help with the dizziness and coat hanger pain associated with POTS. It did provide enough compression to help with the dizziness and syncope, but not quite enough to help with the coat hanger pain.I liked the width. I purchased the 9 inch which allows compression from my hips to just below my sternum. The fabric provides an evenly distributed compression that is not so tight that I wasn't able to bend over. I also thought this fabric is much more breathable than the hospital issue binders. The binder was undetectable if I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, but it could be seen slightly under leggings or other fitted pants. My only real problem with the NYOrtho Post Surgery Abdominal Binder is the velcro is really strong. I have difficulty with hand strength and it is hard for me to peel apart the velcro. This abdominal compression binder wasn't quite what I needed, but I do think that it would make a great choice for a woman recovering from a C-section, hysterectomy, liposuction procedure, or other laparascopic procedure because it provides firm but flexible even compression that is decently comfortable. The price was affordable too.

A Must‑Have for Post‑Surgery Comfort and Mobility
I purchased the NYOrtho Abdominal Binder in advance of my hysterectomy and brought it with me to the hospital, and I’m genuinely glad I did. This wrap made an immediate difference! I was able to walk out of the hospital, navigate steps, and then handle a 1.5 hour drive home. That level of mobility right after surgery was impressive, and I truly don’t think I could have done it without the extra support this binder provided.During the first few days at home, I wore it during the day to help manage discomfort and keep everything supported. In my second week, I had two long car rides (about five hours each), and again, this binder made those trips far more tolerable. When I had a small setback in pain and trouble sleeping, I even wore it at night for a few days. The gentle compression helped enough that I could rest more comfortably.I had five incisions across my abdomen, so I wore the binder over my clothing to avoid friction, and that worked perfectly. It wasn’t too hot, it was easy to put on, and it stayed clean without much effort. Even after three weeks of regular use, the Velcro still looks great—no tearing or worn‑out spots. One unexpected benefit: sneezing and coughing. Anyone recovering from abdominal surgery knows how rough those moments can be. This binder provided just enough resistance that I didn’t feel like I was straining my sutures.Overall, this was an incredibly helpful recovery tool. Durable, comfortable, supportive, and easy to use. I would 100% buy again and highly recommend it to anyone preparing for abdominal surgery.

Great Binder for Petite Frame!
I had a hard time selecting a binder that would work for me, but this one is just what I needed. I am recovering from abdominal surgery and needed something for support while I am healing. I originally ordered a much more expensive binder, but it felt like a straight jacket on me, was too long, and too stiff for me. I have a short torso and often wear petite clothing (for reference I'm 106 pounds, 5'3"). This 6" binder offers the support I need to cover my incisions while healing, is soft against my skin, can be worn under clothing, and I can sit and lay down comfortably. This is a great price for something I intend to wear for a month or so, seems to be holding up fine without pilling, and the fact that it is adjustable is a huge plus. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Impossible to put on solo. Ultra stretchy. Difficult post-op
I got this product for support and comfort post-op for my hysterectomy.Things it is:Gives light support without the barbs and stiff ribs in other support binders.Relatively comfortable, easier to sleep in than the ones with the rigid support ribsVery stretchyVelcro very stickyWhat it's not, and reason for 3 stars:Easy to put on- frankly it's so hard to get on solo and even with two extra hands helping, the Velcro will never perfectly align or be free of bumps and wrinkles. Post-op this thing almost broke me because I was so frustrated and in pain trying to get the damn thing in place and tight enough to actually offer a modicum of support.Ultimately, I'll probably return it. While it's more comfortable to sleep in than the others I bought, it's SO HARD to get on, even with someone helping me, that I'm just fed up with it and have grown to hate it. If it actually looked like the photos and had 4 separate Velcros coming off of a single elastic binder that you could pull to put on, it would've been perfect and comfortable, but it doesn't. It's all one cheap, stretchy piece of elastic that's impossible to put on for someone that's post op, week and in pain.

Great product
Firm grip. A must have post hysterectomy. Does not cause undue pressure at incision sites.

A Must-Have for Post-Surgery Recovery
This abdominal binder was a lifesaver during my recovery after gallbladder removal surgery. It’s comfortable, provides excellent support, and really helped me feel like everything was held together while I was healing. For reference, I weigh 295 lbs, and the 60”–70” size fit me perfectly. The material was gentle on my sensitive skin, and I never experienced any irritation. The Velcro is high quality, stayed securely fastened, and the binder never rolled up or shifted out of place while I was wearing it. I used it daily for about three weeks, and it held up very well. I highly recommend it to anyone recovering from abdominal surgery.

Comfortable and strong
Does the trick. I use it for POTS. I would use it more often but the Velcro is so good that I haven't always got enough energy to put it on or take it off.

Perfect fit
Always a fan of Nyortho as used it once before for post-surgery recovery, bought on Amazon as unable to find it in Singapore, glad that I bought it as it was perfect. Will buy more if Amazon can bring back the sale!
