I have a Weber S435 grill, with a griddle attachment. Weber recommends cleaning the hot griddle with water. However, it never worked too well. Every time, after it cooled down, it still looked black and dirty. Worse, I'd gently wipe it with clean kitchen roll, to see if there was any loose residual material, and there would be a lot of black "dust" on it. And that stuff would, of course, go into the next thing that was cooked on the griddle. So I tried this cleaner. It's outstanding! Squirt onto hot griddle, scour, and squeegee the liquid into the trash collection slot. After using it twice, the griddle looks almost new. And the kitchen roll is pretty much clean!

I use the liquid at the end of my shift at work to clean the griddle, making the whole process much easier and quicker. After a long shift, the last thing I want to do is spend a lot of time scrubbing, but with this cleaner, I can remove baked-on food and cooking oils in just 3-5 minutes. The liquid does a great job of breaking down all the grease and grime, so cleaning up is effortless. I can get everything cleaned up quickly and get back to other tasks without hassle. It saves so much time and energy, and I can always count on it to make my job easier!

I volunteer at my Church and the grill in our kitchen is used by numerous groups. The grill is often left in poor shape. When I am on duty I arrive a few minutes early heat the grill per directions, apply the magical 3M H701, scrub lightly with a grill pad and rinse thoroughly, light coat of vegetable oil and good to Go. This product is OUTSTANDING!

I really wish I did a before and after photo because the results are unreal. A little stinky and smokey-- from the grease coming up, not the product. Also a little leaky in shipment but the performance makes up for it. I'll just do it with a bit more venting next time but other than that, the stuff works. Period.

I've used this cleaning liquid for years and continue to be amazed how well it cleans our flat top grill. The package indicates the grill needs to be hot (around 350) that is absolutely true, the performance of this cleaner is like night and day different if you try using it on just a warm surface. Clean up is pretty easy, relatively speaking, since when was cleaning a grill really "easy" but compared to other methods I've used I like this the best. My only caution about this product is be careful when pushing it around on the surface to clean, it's like an oily consistentcy and it will burn you if you splash it onto your hands/arms (found that out the hard way.) Once again, all in all good product when used as directed and respected.
