Not what I expected.
Hmmm, this my first in this F1 tech series and it's a little disappointing. Firstly, there are no actual photographs of any of the components being described, all images are artists renditions, secondly, there is no real depth to the dialogue. There is enough to get to grips with the fairly complex hybrid power train but I would have liked to see ALOT more. Actually the whole thing appears to be a compilation of Autosport tech updates. Also, it's a soft back, a reasonable quality soft back but for this money it should have been hardback, Haynes do it for less. Although I did realise it was a softback when I bought it.

The best F1 technical info
Well up to Giorgio Piola's usual standard. Contrary to an earlier reviewers comments regarding the lack of photos, the the clarity of his drawings is a major advantage when it comes to being able to understand the complexity and minute detail of the changes etc under discussion. This is the best current F1 technical info available all in one place.

An excellent buy for the F1 enthusiast.
As ever a fascinating insight, but this one seems to contain more typo's than previous edition... Still well worth having if you're the sort of fan who enjoys scratching beneath the surface!

Excellent book, shame the publishers didn't pick up the misspelling of Caterham.

as all Piolas books. Great illustrustrations. First class.

A must have
Normal high standards, perhaps a little more coverage of the hybred engines would have been justified.
