Definite must for DVD labeling...
I used Memorex's full disc label on DVDs I've created at home, however, the stickers heat up in the DVD player and warp, then get unbalanced and cause the player to start vibrating and before you know it you can't read the DVD anymore. These smaller 2.25" labels don't have that issue. They might not cover the entire disc, but at least you can play them without any hassles.Hope this helps you avoid wasting money on the full disc labels.-Matt

Adequate for most users
Labels are convenient and an easy way to identify your CD/DVDs if you don't need a lot of information (note the size of the label is quite small due to the limitations of the Dymo prnter. The Dymo labeling application is lacking in ease of use though. It should be a lot more controllable...maybe switch between simple menus and more advanced menus, depending on your needs and expertise. But, the labels do the job adequately in most cases.

5 inch hole punch to make them a better size.
As advertised. However they should be made a little more narrow. The way these are takes up too much of the front of the disc, si much that I used a 1.5 inch hole punch to make them a better size.

Note Size Of These Labels
These labels are of the high quality you would expect from DYMO, But a word of caution - they are a large size for most needs. The typical use of CD/DVD core labels is to apply them to double-sided discs, covering only the hub area. For those situations, I recommend the 1 1/3" core labels. DYMO doesn't make that size any longer, so you'll need to search for a different brand.

Does what it's supposed to...
There's not much to say... they print well, stick well. The biggest negative is more about the printer than the labels... there just doesn't seem to be any way to change labels without wasting at least one--given the price of these, that becomes an annoyance.

Consistent and Dependable
As stated in an existing review. Black text on a white label. Nothing more. I have both LabelWriter Turbo 330 (at work) and Turbo 400 (at home). Both work great, but the Turbo 400 loads much easier and does not waste a label when loading. I'm usually switching between label formats. If I only had one printer the Turbo 400 is my choice. Both work great on either a Macintosh or PC.

How many was that again??
Just one little item. I haven't started using the labels yet. When I was working up an order (to get the free shipping) I saw these labels. I read down to the technical details and it said Quantity 3000 labels per pack. Cool! I'll NEVER run out of them! Of course, when I get them there are 170 labels. Now am I the only one to get caught like that? Why even mention how many per pack if the item is sold by the roll? They are a bit cheaper than the Dymo labels, BUT I think they got me on this one. Don't be like me...
