I’ve purchased several of these mats. They work great for desks by providing a smooth writing surface and I’ve used them too on bedside tables to protect the finish from water marks and scratches. The variety of colors offered make matching finishes or decor easy. They’re also easy to cut to a custom size, if necessary. They remain in place, and so far show no wear after months of use.

Hi. I purchased the dark blue version of this writing mat/desk protector and I am quite pleased with its usefulness and how it looks. I purchased the smallest version and, as you can see in the photos I’ve attached, it’s proven to be a practical size for my desktop workspace. The mat has a texturized, cloth like, underside that effectively prevents it from sliding on the smooth desktop as I type or use the mouse. And, speaking of the mouse … I am able to use my Apple mouse on it without any problems at all. There is ample space to the right of my keyboard for me to use the mouse without any changes or compromises for space. It’s a layout that works well and I’m happy to say good-bye to my separate, stand alone, mousepad. The mat I received arrived rolled up in a rectangular box (see attached photos) and had a significant curl on its release. The good news is that this is easy to fix. I lay the mat, face down, on my desk and then placed a single layer of hardcover books on top of it, entirely covering its surface. I left it this way overnight and in the morning the curl had almost disappeared. For good measure, I repeated this process the next night and, the following morning the mat was perfectly flat and ready for use. The takeaway: This writing mat / desk protector is a good looking and useful addition to a home office workspace. It eliminates the need for a separate mousepad and provides a welcome “pop” of color that is a simple visual pleasure on its own.

This is nice supple material with a soft backing and what appears to be a quality finish. The colors are very well represented in the product images so you can be confident in what you're ordering.

Great size since I have such a big laptop. it just gets dented easily but it’s not like I need it to be perfect. The mouse moves well on it. Since it’s so flat it’s easy to put stuff on top of like it’s not really taking up my space. I do love the color which has not faded despite me having this for like a couple yrs now

I liked this desk protector so much that I have one on both of my desks. It gives my workspace a more finished look while protecting the surface from scratches, spills, and everyday use. The leather-like material is smooth, comfortable to work on, and very easy to wipe off when something spills or leaves marks.
