I've only played AC2. if you're going the modern route I suppose you can suit it to your purpose. Its not a rigid armor, its soft but definitely sufficient for taking hits with blunt objects like those hardwood fighting sticks used in Kali/Escrima. zombie bites too. but this is definitely not rated for baseball-bat swing damage
