I'm a 40 year old man and this little guy is now my favourite new buddy. I was expecting something more like a lamp but he's actually more of a nightlight or like an old lava lamp - he casts a slightly hypnotic faint "nebula" lava lamp pattern surrounded by a field of pinpoint stars. The distribution is extremely wide-angle so it covers most of the ceiling and tops of walls in even a medium to large room if you position him in a corner.Practically speaking, you'll need a USB to UK mains socket/plug as comes with iphones etc, as well as 2xAAA batteries for the remote (neither included/provided). But I love him and I would buy him again in a heartbeat! We all have an inner child and this has brought out mine...
