My Secret Portal to a Fantasy World Book 2 Paperback – January 29, 2024

This is clearly an isekai portal adventure story. The overall pacing is moderate to slow. It leans toward slice of life with plenty of action.A solid reading possibilty for fans of the genre. Especially if you prefer the characters and their interactions over an over-arcing adventure. Not that this doesn't deliver on the genre standard adventuring.There were slightly more internal inconsistancies than the first book but nothing to worry about. It was on the level that you would find with most other authors. Most could be explained away with a few sentences here or there and don't pull you out of the story. I woudn't even say anything except I took special note.

Really enjoyed this book and series. Looking forward to the next book. The story just keeps looking you in. I wish the love scenes were more detailed.

This has been a good read. Edits were a little worse than the first book. This volume has a mystery involved in the adventure, but the slice of life are the better part of the book. I enjoy the sexual/romantic energy of this book which is conveyed in an PG to R rated sense. Which is kept at a fun level. This story is not a deep or intense read. The characters are not stressed. This is not a tear inducing read. It is fun, recreational, and light.

I apologize for my previous review. I missed the 5 star and hit 3 accidentally. Thankfully the MC does not have ‘game changers’ and his acquaintances are not all ‘sweethearts’. My favorite parts of this series are the pacing and that the MC does not have 15 different abilities at level 5.Well done Mr. Levesque!

Nice guys don't finish last in this series. If you do good work you get ahead quickly. Fast paced, good characters with good imagination and a great companion! Can't wait for the next book.

I enjoyed reading this second book. We have the main character traveling back and forth making money selling goods in another world. There used to be fighting in dungeons and the surface. The relationships with his two wife’s provide adult fantasy (it does not go into depth). I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I dont like harem type books, but by the time the second female joined the group it wasn't too bad. What was upsetting was the lack of respect for Christianity. Please be respectful of others religion by not using their God's name in a disrespectful manner. Christianity is one of the biggest religions in the world. You know using the name "Jesus" in the manner in which you used it was quite disrespectful.

This is a fine fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like the Dire Wolf. I anxiously await the sequel.
